I've been working on my final project for my animation class for a while now. I wanted to show off an easy portion that looks nice! Cute, no?

The body looks less fluid than the head, and I'm assuming that the red outline of her scalp and line in her hair right at the end are due to not having removed them from that/those frame(s).

Other than that, it looks great.

Indeed, indeed. Next time I go over it, it will all be more fluid. I consider this passable. Smiley

Thank you for your close scrunity.

Well I like it. I think the red outline is neat and stylish.

If you ever want to do something a little more intensive, I get really sick of doing all the art for my games by myself. If you wanted to make some stuff up...

Ah, Hobo was talking about some extraneous lines that I removed, not the red outline itself.

I wasn't planning on keeping it red for the absolute final product, but I might keep it that way in some spots. I rather like it, too. It's different.

hehe, actually I'm well pleased with how my project's coming together. I have no desire to shoot off in another direction right now. What was your idea, though?

Nice.

I also think you should keep the red outline, I like how it adds a bit of color without sticking out too much.

The red outline is neat, that's not what I was talking about.

An older version had her scalp outlined as well, causing there to be some random red lines in the last few frames.

What program do you use? I learned how to make gifs recently, and it's addicting but annoying--tedious.
This is pretty neat, the eyes really stood out to me. I love how with art it's the little things that matter. Are you going to show us the completed piece?

This is all done in Flash. I'm on a mission because the animation teacher said, "You can't make things look lifelike in Flash--it all looks mechanical!" Except with a French accent.

Also, I'm finally transferring to an art school, so this is eventually going to go into my portfolio.

I like the eyes, too! I changed them recently, but I'm not sure if it's for the better. We'll see.

Well hells yeah. It will still be a while before it's all done, but I think I'm tackling the most difficult portions first. Very important to me, the difficult portions, because even though they give me hell, they interest me and drive me. They challenge me.

It's hard to make someone look cute and in awe but not stupid at the same time. I think she basically fits the bill.

I'll show bits and bobs whenever it's pertinent, before the full thing.

At first I was freaking out over how my animation looked so sluggish and crappy whenever I posted it online. But then I took a look at it in Firefox instead of IE, and all was well.

Oh Firefox, why did I ever leave you?

It's my banner, except as a large SWF.

Thanks. Smiley I've made alterations over the past two days, but perfecting it will have to wait.

My current project is an animated short about a dust bunny, who eats belly button lint for sustenance, and crosses paths with a grease monkey and some computer bugs during his adventures. It should be done by November.
