I'm going to take a long shot and say he was trying to make a "Venus and Serena" joke.

And... well, yeah, Big O could probably have taken Big Venus out with a slap as far as I can tell. And frankly I wish he would have.

I bet the Big Venus we saw was just a projection, and Big Venus' physical body exists in a reinforced coffin, in a bunker beneath the city. It wouldn't be right for it to have a non-humanoid physical form. That would break the theme. Unless that's the point of Big Venus: to be on a different conceptual level. However, I doubt it.

Or the Big Venus we saw is the actual Big Venus, and it has the ability to teleport. That's cooler, but then it would negate the importance of location within Paradigm City. If Big Venus could teleport, it could establish Paradigms all over the world. Unless Big Venus can only handle the management of a single Paradigm. Establishing a second Paradigm would involve the construction of a second Venus. Ooh! Fanfiction material!
