Pretty sure Thor's getting his own movie, and then he'll show up in the Avengers movie, along with Iron Man and The Hulk.

The thor movie exists, and is being directed by Kenneth Branagh

..I'm not joking, the guy who did all the Shakespeare adaptations is directing Thor.

Quote
So either Iron man 3 has Thor in it or Thor gets his own movie.

Yeah, like has already been said apparently whats happening is they're gonna do thor, and a captain america movie, then tie all of the relevant characters (which I guess is..iron man, hulk, thor, captain america) into an Avengers movie. I never read the avengers comic so I dunno if thats what constitutes them.

Oh and speaking of films, Dennis Hopper died.  Embarrassed

Captain America; I knew I was missing someone.

Wow, Dennis Hopper? I can't even imagine that.

Avengers lineups change all the time. They can put just about any character they want on the team. I think with a big budget movie they'll play it safe and just do the guys you mentioned plus Nick Fury, Black Widow, and maybe one other random guy to mix it up (Hawkeye would rule).

By the way, do any of you guys actually read comics? I'll make a thread if you do, but there's only like 5 people on this forum, so the chances are pretty slim.

I've read a few comics, but not much of the traditional superhero stuff.

I do collect and read comic books, although I sometimes get bogged down with work and other things. However, I hope to find more breaks for comic books, as i've been finding more breaks for video games and movies.

Oh, I've seen "About Schmidt", "The Iron Giant", and the 2-D version of "Alice in Wonderland" (it was fun and still seemed very 3-D in appearance)...

I finally watched My Neighbor Totoro. What the fuck is so awesome about this movie? I get Totoro being awesome, but the kids sorta ruin it most the time.

Sunday: Jonah Hex - mediocre action flick
This Afternoon: The Karate Kid (2010)
This Evening: The Karate Kid, Part 2

New Karate Kid really should have been titled "The Kung Fu Kid". Despite that, about half the scenes were verbatim from the original. Jackie Chan was pretty awesome, though.

Toy Story 3. Yes I went to see a family movie, with my mom and little sister. Surprisingly no Disney deaths, though it looked like there was going to be.
