RECTIFY.
RECTIFY.
GAMES.

Finally saw it.

like TRON changing colors in the end...and other stuff I'll not mention right now...oh, and Olivia Wilde looking all nice and sexy in her skin tight outfit...

I think that was just to show his heart of gold shining through in the end... cuz Tron is just such a good guy and all, deep down inside.

Or... SEQUEL!!!!

The movie's strength was showing the exotic and outrageous computer society. Once it got into the formula epic, I got bored. It was definitely hyper-cool and gorgeous. Awesome soundtrack.

Here's something I noticed: Olivia Wilde was compared to a dog, or a pet in general. Which is good in the interest of hawtness, but not so much for my modern sensibilities.

Also the whole dynamic between CLU/TRON/Daddy Flynn could have made for some interesting interactions, but all that took place in a flashback, mostly in words, until one conversation at the very end. How lame!

So what is the fate of the Net? Was it returned to primordial flatness?

They never got to the Net. The Grid in the basement of Flynn's was isolated from the rest of the world.

My friends and I all seemed to agree on Disney keeping it open for a sequel. After all, TRON didn't get much screen-time.

The Other Guys
Daybreakers
You Don't Know Jack
Julie & Julia

All on DVD.

...don't judge me.

The Grid
That's right. Sorry for the slip-up.

Open-ended, although, since Flynn keeps a flash drive of the Grid around his neck, it suggests that at least something remains worth saving. That's for the TV series to answer! lol.

The whole selling point of Jule & Julia is simply watching Streep be ridiculous. F*ck the story.

Who's excited for Cowboys vs. Aliens?
I'm on the fence leaning towards "not."

Saw the preview; and it looks way cooler than that cowboys and ninjas movie.

Sorry for the lateness... Role Models - last Sunday night. KISS + combat LARPing = good see... I'm leaning toward "yeah" on Cowboys vs. Aliens, but might wait for rental... Julie & Julia got too political, but the funny stuff was great...

Yeah, I didn't want to drop any big spoilers about TRON, so I didn't mention the flash drive. I think Sam "froze" everything in the Grid, and a sequel is definitely plausible.

Yeah, but he got better, though.
Shouldn't this go under the "Real Life" folder here? I Got Better - Television Tropes & Idioms

I think, maybe I'm misremembering. I thought he had some brain surgery or therapy or something and started to get over it. Anyway, he's old now, and everyone remembers McFly so well I doubt he could do anything at his age without everybody comparing him to that role.

What, no love for Alex P. Keaton? It's still good to hear he's doing OK.

The Green Hornet

Movie was awesome; Rotten Tomatoes can suck it.

Thought so. OK, will check it out. Also, agree with you on Rotten Tomatoes - they've called "suck" on way too many of my favorites...

Monsters vs. Aliens. Weird movie, especially seeing as there is only on alien up til the climax.
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Even weirder movie. It's like Pixar was just grasping at straws.

I personally didn't like it. It's hard to take the Green Hornet serious with that unfunny douche Seth Rogan playing him. The older GH had a very sarcastic sense of humor. This one is "ZOMG look, I'm a bumbling goof ball! Super wacky!"

Inception.

Yeah I'm late, but going to see movies is expensive. So I just rent for free from the library.
