It is often said that the Dorothy we see at the end of the DVD is drawn slightly differntly than usual, to suggest that she is a human being rather than a robot. Does this extra scene contribute to that idea?
That's not likely. Dorothy has the same bland expression and pale features; the angle is a bit different, which makes her seem stranger than usual. Angel likewise seems to be drawn differently, but that doesn't mean she has been turned into an android.
