Title: Never Forget Post by: DOMON KASSHU! on September 11, 2007, 02:15:55 PM Six years ago, a horrific event transpired that claimed the lives of thousands of people. It marred one of our country's most prominent cities and made children orphans, men and women widowers and widows. It caused untold grief, horrible pain, strife and suffering. It was something that we can never be allowed to forget.
Much like Pearl Harbor, the World Trade Center attacks were a vicious declaration of war, and a realization that our own complacence had allowed for such an event to happen. I merely felt the desire to point out, on this day, what we as citizens of the United States, and what we as citizens of the world must never again allow to come to pass. War. How he wasn't dragged out into the street, drawn and quartered amazes me.
What pisses me off almost as much as the actual attack is the way our country managed to, in about one year, completely squander all the sympathy and goodwill of the rest of the entire world. Title: Never Forget Post by: Galatea on September 12, 2007, 01:46:25 AM Ah, i just realized why i didn't get any 9/11 stuff on my telly yesterday. 9/11 starts in america about 12hrs later than over here so today i got stuff on TV about the memorial service thing and the dude that called in the bomb threat (what a dildo)
