Ok, what is your Favorite Robot. This is a tough one. You can guess what my favorite. Here are his pointers:

My vote goes to the Archetype. Mostly because I like the design and the mystery behind it. Second place goes to Duo Inferno. Third to Big O.

Also:  There seems to be a bug in the poll systems. It's rejecting my vote for th Archetype, saying I have to pick a valid choice, but at the same time it counts it every time I make a vote.

Oh good, I'm not the only one getting that error. I was afraid that there was some anti-Big Fau conspiracy.

Why Fau? Because it had guns. Lots of guns. Plus those two huge guns that came out of its shoulders.

Split between Duo and Fau, leaning towards Fau. I voted for both.

So I'm the S.O.B. that voted "BECK!"... also I voted Big Duo. Big O is extremely awesome, but Big Duo beats it by a maniacal laugh.

I voted for Big O, my all-time favoritest mecha EVAR.  8)  That thing's got all the goods, and it knows how to use it. Those steam pistons, man...

Besides, it's also piloted by one of my top hotties. That's always a good thing.

I went with the zombie Big.

Now I'm going to go watch one of the about 50 episodes of Gundam Wing that's been downloaded into my computer.

Well, it would be surprising if Big Fau could beat Big Duo in this poll. After all, except for the guns that extend out of Big Fau's breast plate, Duo and Fau have Identical weapons. A good Battle.

-- Arm Missiles (literally, the whole frakkin arm)
-- Depth Charges (in the manga)
-- Eye Lasers (blah blah blah)
-- Tenticle Beams (kinky)

Duo's Armaments:
-- Hand Saws (lol pun)
-- Rotary Missiles (in chest)
-- Eye Lasers (standard)
-- Megaton Missiles (in legs)
-- Bandage attack (does this really count?)
-- Machine guns (dunno if this was just on Inferno)
-- Eye Helix-Beam (just on Inferno)
-- Claws/Drills (just on Inferno)


...see? Very different.

Ok, but let's see how much firepower each weapon is:

Duo's Megaton Bombs in Legs are equel to Fau's Arm Missles
Both have identicle eye lasers
Duo's Missles in Chest are equal to Fau's Grand Finaly Guns
Duo's Machine Guns are equal to Fau's Tenticle Beams (ok if that sounds unorthodox, here-Duo can fire more bullets than duo can  
  shoot beams)

So except for Duo and Fau's extra weponry, they are verry simular. ;D

The Tentacle Beams are much stronger than the machine guns that are visible on regular Duo, but only used by Inpherno.

The Megaton Missiles are much better than the arm-missiles, since their use doesn't hinder Duo in any way, and they explode more.  I mean, Big O let the arm-missiles blow up in his hands, whereas the Megaton Missiles caused an explosion that would have OHKO'd Big O, were there not a dome for Roger to escape with.

Ok, so there are some points that you got me. But the rest are prety much equal. Ok, I admit it, I WAS WRONG!

RX3 totally got the shaft. Beck should have given Big O a much better run for its money than that. The Beckbots are deserving of that at least.

You know which one was pretty cool?
Leviathan. Everything it came near turned into SAND.

And it fueled a lot of theories that there was a war between Bigs and Leviathans resulting in the desert. Those were cool theories.

Oh, yea, the leviathan. He looks like a mecha version of the single headed version of the hydra. And he looks simular to Archetype. Mybe there should be a dragon-shaped Big and not a humanoid shaped.

The leviathan was an awesome robot there. I really liked that giant eel thing.

The giant eel thing was cool. One of the three creatures that were acualy organtic and battled Big O. The other two was the cat from the episode Missing Cat and the Three Headed version of the Eel.

Hey, in the Manga, there was an electric mosquito and during that manga, Big-O had an extra pair of arms with electricity conductors. Why wasn't that used during the fight with the three headed electric eel? That would have been kick but, even if Big-O became four armed instead of trading arms.

Didn't read the manga, but the three headed eel thing was awesome. The first eel still beats it for originality and coolness, however.

I had to vote Big O for three reasons:

1. The piston punches (he punched a satellite for Pete's sake...)
2. The "O Thunder" right-arm gatling gun (Beck is lucky to have survived, Wainwright's 2nd megadeus wasn't so lucky... Both these destroyed robots also used bladed weapons, but were still defeated.)
3. The Dorothy-assisted "Final Stage" gun (a tribute to the "big gun/main gun/big weapon" concept, present in many other anime, and other cartoons, too. Although it's been seen before, I still enjoyed it...)
