Title: Big-0 Action Figure
Post by: Anebo on November 24, 2007, 07:45:13 AM
I just had disappointing results looking for the Big-0 Action-Figure (the one that's about 10 inches tall, not the miniature ones) on e-bay and yahoo shopping. Does anyone know where I can get one (the big duo one would be fine, though I know that is rarer).

My 4 year old son lost his a few months ago and I'd like to get him one for Christmas.

The Big O figures are pretty consistent on eBay, there are usually one or two up for bid, so if there isn't any now there should be soon. The holiday season might bump up bidding prices. I would aim to pick up an open figure, since they go for less and you'll be opening it anyways. Also, I wouldn't bother with Duo. They generally go for 50.00+ and are pretty tough to come by.

But if anyone knows any online stores that sell these...? That would be awesome. eBay is a fickle beast.

Here is an eBay-based store, which might be better than taking a chance on an auction:

Here is also one store that features one of the sets:

I'll try to post back with any others I discover...

Big O figures. Anime figures. Anime toys and paraphernalia. Good gods, my budget. It shrinks. It shriiiiiiinks.

^ Just be glad you don't have a thing for expensive shoes, or sports cars, or home theatre. That can get really out of hand.

Actually, my major spending issue is books, computers, and suits.

This sounds like me... but without the sports cars or home theatre.

Okay, I can only relate to 1/3 of it, but still.

I found some at a local Toy/Collectible store... There seems to be more of these stores springing up all the time, and not just chains like Suncoast video.

I bought the following "Boxed Set A" for $6.00+tax:
Boxed Set A -eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Japanense-The-Big-O-Set-of-4-Figures-Boxed-Set-A-NIB_W0QQitemZ360037406924QQihZ023QQcategoryZ1345QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Maybe I'll keep it mint-in-box...Nah! *RRRIIIPPPP!* BIG O...IT'S...SHOWTIME! 8)
