Just wanted to say happy holidays. i'm stuck typing essays...

I hate chirstmas. Sorry if i ruin it for anyone else, but i just hate this time of year. hell, winter blues cheers me up, cant get much worse then that.

I love rants. Why do you dislike Xmas?

no dude! i'm a chirstan, i just dont like this time of year. when i was a kid..... well lets just say that about 3 weeks before Christmas till about my b-day all i would hear was angry yelling! (thank god mom got a divorce!)

just cuz yer a jew doesn't mean you have to hate xmas. it really has ceased to be about christ. it's turned into a reason to spoil kids and spend the money that was supposed to go to the bills. i will probably treat unwanted xmas stuff like i would on animal crossing, sell it if i don't need it.... i'm sorry for your family trouble, though.

Christmas has been over for a few days now, but it was definitely a fun holiday time, and it's good to have these moments to remind yourself of just what's really important in life.

well if nothing else good comes out of this holiday, i got a nintendo Wii! i love playing this system.....
Nintendo ONLY makes about $40 a Wii, so unlike other systems you get what you pay for.

Holy crap, Nintendo must be making a KILLING. I heard that most console makers barely break even on the consoles and then make the money back on games.

Anyway, I got an awesome Joe Namath jersey for Christmas.

I recieved dvds, cigars, sweaters, and a pack of various old spice.

So yeah, worked out well.

Mostly clothing for me (which I didn't mind; something I didn't want to buy myself), and couple CDs, one of which I had to return, and two games along with some Best Buy gift cards. Not a bad Christmas, I'd say.

And it's may be kinda late, but Happy New Year, everybody.

shadowdorothy, sorry to hear Christmas time brings up bad memories. However, I've had some bad things happen at Christmas time so I understand, too. You got a Wii? Well, that's a good Christmas memory... :) Hopefully, there will be many more happy times...

As for me, I got some cool clothes, nice dress shoes, dvds (1 a real classic), a car gadget, The Orange Box (video games), and a Best Buy card :o. Way cool, but I needed to buy two "Christmas gifts" for my PC (parts) to play the Orange Box stuff...

Bllue's right about the over-commercialization. It really annoys me anymore. I try not to get wrapped up in all that stuff. Usually, I try to get one or two fun and/or funny gifts for each person, and one for charity. (I don't know who, but some lucky 13-year-old got himself a Transformers movie... ;D) Plus, I try to be a little more helpful to others even though I'm usually pretty helpful...

I have to admit, I did get a little frustrated shopping this year. We were spending Christmas away from home, and the planning/traveling plus my college studies took away my ability to shop during "the guy week" - the week before Christmas when stores lower prices a final time so procrastinating guys like me can finish our gift shopping.  8) However, I pulled through and it did turned out to be a fun Christmas for everyone. I already miss it...
