City of Amnesia

I'm carrying around a little picture of Obama in my wallet for whenever I'm feeling lazy or irresponsible. Damn inspirational.

I only caught a few seconds of it. I was busy playing FF11.

We watched it in my GBio class instead of having class for the last 20 minutes.

I missed a bunch of his later remarks, including the "... red man can get ahead, man" line, but yeah.

Not a follower of politics, I see. Come on, FF11? Nobody plays that anymore.


That was actually by a preacher. He was all ancient with bushy eyebrows and beard. Really, when he started talking and his throat rumbled like a cave stirring with the winds from the depths of time, I was like... woah, this guy resembles some kind of oracle. And then yeah, he threw in some rhyming civil-rights slogans at the end, to remind us all that he's human after all. Really well-crafted.

I didn't care to watch it, but this (http://gamu-toys.info/sonota/sw/obama/obama.html) is simply awesome.

Nothing wrong with FF11, been playing it for 4 years, and SE is raping what makes FF11 fun. Dumbing it down with crap like level sync, which turns everyone into a permanoob, that can't function without getting "ZOMGZ CHAIN 300! or put together a party that makes you wanna punch them in the face.

I did however catch Keith Olbermann and MSNBC's lulz coverage of the event.

Don't talk about the vidya in this thread.

Talk about it in the vidya thread, or make a new thread strictly about that vidya.

The idea is lulzy enough on its own, but then the pictures towards the end just take it to the next level. It's only a matter of time before someone draws Obama piloting a Gundam or fighting Godzilla.
