And now the incompetence comes out. I'm also trying to find this in an actual news story, but I've heard alot of reports that there was a minor political uproar that funding was being thrown at a new stadium in lieu of infastructure maintenance. Which it isn't. Least, not to me. Bridges here in the US are poorly inspected and poorly maintained. Just not enough money going into maintaining them, really. Maybe this'll be a turnaround point.

Then they found out that every time a subway train went over it, the bridge bent like 5 feet. So it was closed for like 5 years while they made it not fall down.

At least the bus full of people was safely evacuated as I understand it. Truly, something needs to be done to prevent something like this from occurring in the future.
