City of Amnesia

Once I'm done with my current project, I'm going to take an intermission and make a short animation loop. Anything cute, as long as it's short and Big O related. Preferably involving chibis.

Throw me your ideas! I'm partial to a chibi Big O using Sudden Impact on an original Megadeus, but that sounds too complicated. Something as simple as a carameldansen is ideal, really.

Yeah, I've seen it, too. That's why I gave it as an example. It's one of the better ones I've seen, too. Very smooth. It would be cool if Yuko translated the dialogue in the beginning.

This could be good. Megas could leap into the air up all heroically, with a "YEAH!" at the top. It'd be a bit complicated, though, since I'll have to establish the difference in scale.

More suggestions please.

Well, if you just want something easy, but in the chibi style, it could be something as simple as chibi verisons of things the characters already do.  Like, Roger whipping his watch out, or Vera with her whip, or, uh.. I dunno, that actually sounded better before I started trying to think of examples.  Unless you specifically wanted to stick to the mechs, in which case I have nothing.

You gave me an idea! Besides the ones you posted, which are just fine. Chibi Roger being all serious with his watch sounds adorably ironic.

How about Dorothy being all grumpy, wearing an apron, pushing a mop around? I think thaz cuuute.  :-[

Sorry for the lack of shading on the figures. I was in a hurry. In the near future, I will add 3 frames between each of the ones you see here. Once I've got the full 60 frames, then I'll add the shading. Possibly a background, too. Like the solarium.

I'm working on the translation BTW. The kanji is throwing me off a bit. But other then that it seems that I've got the jest of it. Roger does not like Caramelaldansen, and I have no idea what iyaiyaiya means. But Roger yells that at the beginning.

I think I already looked at RPG.net, via TV Tropes. It looked more geared towards tabletop stuff, and not so much anime. Though I'm sure there are plenty of fans there. RPG.net looks like a massively wonderful playground for nerds, but not exactly my specialty.

There is a pattern. The last forum I devoted any time to was SBO. The moment I climbed up into the top of the posting pyramid, the site was already dead and its web(mistress) didn't even bother recovering it from a virus attack (after making a lengthy announcement in a thread about how Big O was, for real, guys, forever going to be a part of her life). Here, I'm hundreds of posts ahead of almost everyone else, and once again the curtain closes. This either means I have the death-touch, or that I cling to certain things.
