As usual, you find insurmountable ways to disgust me. Don't compare Pesci's improvised and self-directed (Scorsese actually let him direct that scene himself) brillant scene with a cartoon show about pigeons produced by Spielberg. Really, it would save everyone the trouble and all.

I is old now. i still love inuyasha, but horizens broaden. i don't think I'm banned from the computer anymore, so i will visit... as often as i can. I'm sorry if this means every half a year...

I was a member of the old forums for a very long time, though I only made 1,000-some posts.  It's good to be back in the loop.  Hope this fresh start gives the forums some more activity, since the old ones were lacking in that department.

I also felt the old forums had an air of exclusivity about them in their later days...I hope that's not carried over to here.

But really. I don't like violence or anything, but I would like to own a revolver just because it's such an amazing piece of machinery. That, and it's dead sexy.

Trust me, nobody around here really cares that much about guns, anyway. We were voted one of the top ten best towns to raise a family in by Family Circle magazine.

See, I shoot an SKS (with bayonet attached), which, for those who don't know, uses a 7.62x...34 I think it is. However, I want a Dragunov SVD Russian Sniper rifle that uses the 7.62x54 round (I think it was 54). I found one for 4k. If I had 4k, I would like to buy it...but I would fix my car and tune it some first.

I like longarms, they're cool as all getout, but honestly I prefer sidearms for collecting and playing with. Few things beat the feel of a nice Colt 1911 in your hands.

Back to the guns, what I would relly like to get six M2 E-50 (M2E50)s? Those are the types of guns big duo has. :-/ ;D

I always thought that SVDs were super-rare.

If I ever got a handgun...probably a SW1911. And a P99 'cause it's small and you can hide it and bust it out if someone tries to rob you.

Okay... Firearm debate settled. Get yourself a nice GLOCK 20 Automatic. 10mm sidearms are quite fun, and do have a decent amount of stopping power.

But yeah you'll notice I didn't name something like the Colt repeating rifle which the Berdan Sharpshooters wisely replaced with Sharps rifles.

Well, okay, if it fires well, that's acceptable. Only one firearm I can accept as classy regardless of how GOOD it actually is would be the .38 special, the little snub-nose detectives revolver you see plain-clothes detectives wear in those old film noir style movies and shows.

What can I say about myself? I like music, tomatoes (and other plants, I'm not biased...), robots, cars, planes, video games, movies, anime, guns, and kittens (especially if they're kittens with guns...) 8)

Thought I come by and say hello to some people I know here who know me from SBO.com/PCF.com.  I have been gone for a while getting married and now having a son due in December. Hard to believe that I found out PCF is shut down plus SBO on the frits thanks to some hackers.

You're more than welcome to post as much as you want. We're a pretty happening community here... No problem with resurrecting old threads - you were only trying to help COA regain some of its lost memories... 8)

Ah Zork and Infocom, I remember them fondly. I especially liked how Infocom carried over their "darkness"/"grue" warning to other games, like "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". Unfortunately, I did ignore the warning in that game, and did end up being eaten buy a grue... :o Lots of fun, though...
