City of Amnesia

Well as the title says it's been a hell of an interesting day.

After getting up later then normal I rushed to school to get homework help. After that I went to my class. All went well in that respect.
But when class was over I tried to call my mom and ask her a question. She always has her phone on her, but for some reason today she didn't. So I couldn't get a hold of her. I needed to ask about my car, but after a few minutes of trying I finally got it to work.

When I got home was even more interesting. My sisters friend calls and needs to talk to my mom, so I hand her the phone. My sisters friends are trying to bake her a cake for her birthday. But there is just one small problem; they forgot to add flour. I have absolutely no idea how they managed this, but they did. So my mom leaves to go help my sisters friends bake the cake, and shes trying desperately not to laugh about it.

So mom leaves, and I go outside to move my car into the driveway. When I get to the door I try to use my car keys unlock button on it, only to realize that that won't work. When I get to the door I have another problem. My sister effectively locked me out of the house by locking the screen door. there is no way to unlock the screen door from the outside. So I bang on it and scream for her to let me in. Eventually she comes to the door and unlocks it.
Story of my life right? Can't have a nice day, and I'm swamped with midterms to write.

So yeah. How's your day been?

Oh dear. Good thing that cake wasn't the one for my birthday. Which was also yesterday and went rather well. Nothing really notable other than just having the day off and chilling at home then going out to dinner with my parents.
