so i went back to pcf to get a few big o pics and dicecded to look at the as bumps. wats weird is that 1 of them is accutaly promoting you to watch the big o while none of the others do. heres the link.

Most of Adult Swim's bumpers now either make fun of or disregard Big O completely, which is too bad. The only things I can stand to watch on that block anymore are Family Guy and Futurama.

Well, my impression was that they DID want us all to watch it back then. Very much. But after a while, they just stopped caring, which is why you don't see those bumps up anymore.

Why would they want people to not watch it? They'd just spent a big pile of money getting the second season made. Maybe CN didn't like the ending either.

Well, they DID want people to watch it very very much--when it was first made. But my GUESS is that when the series ended (with what I had thought was kind of a lukewarm reception overall), and then portions of the show's fanbase became really very aggressive in their desire for a third season, the folks at AS lost some of their enchantment with the series... or at least with its fans. That much, I think, is obvious.

I thought that the commercials were funny. Especialy the hampster dance, wich I can do with my Big-O figure!!!!!
