Anyone else watching this anime? It's kind of an action/drama/mystery show that kind of reminds me of Big O (no robots, though). There's this giant field called "Hell's Gate" that appeared around Tokyo several years ago and now the sky and stars are artificial. When this gate appeared, some people (called "Contractors") developed special abilities, but they are without emotions and must perform some sort of unusual ritual as a "payment" for using their powers (which is different for each character and can be anything from smoking when the person hates it to writing a poem). The main character is a contractor named Hei who works with a team (including a "doll" named Yin who is somewhat reminiscent of Dorothy, although she's not an android) and often ends up fighting other contractors. As the show goes on more of the mysteries begin to unfold. I think it was just licensed by Funimation, but anyway, I recommend it. I'll check it out, Shredder. It sounds interesting, and it seems to have happy amounts of senseless violence.

I hear Movie6 has most everything but in low quality and resolution. I'd personally check out the various torrent collection sites.

I think our anime club started a couple of episodes of that before the summer.
Sorry to say I can't recall too much bout what I saw, but it did seem interesting.

It does look good from the tiny bit I've seen. Still backing up all of the 300 Gigs of data I have, though. Expect it to be a while before I catch more than teasers.

Rejoice! I am not alone. This anime has been under the radar and to the extent of my knowledge its only being fansubbed and it is not yet llicensed. Which is a good thing. Cause usually when an anime gets licensed it goes straight to anime hell. The anime series isn't done so I check up on it every so often in hopes a new episode has been released. The cast of characters is strong with an interested story premise. It looks promising and its very enjoyable. Besdies, the music was done by Yoko Kanno. How can it suck?
