Edit:
Ok, it's ready. The group is called "City of Amnesia".

Here's the url:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cityofamnesia

You can also search for it in Steam communities and it should show up.

If you don't know what Steam is then click here:
www.steampowered.com

It's Valve's digital distribution system. I've you've played any Source games like Half-Life 2 or Counter-Strike Source you would have been required to use it. There is no monthly fee at all and once you purchase a game on Steam you can download it as many times as you want.

Here's some of the games they carry:
-Half Life 1 and 2
-Counter Strike Source and 1.6
-Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War
-Bioshock
-STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
-Painkiller
-Doom 3
-Company of Heroes
-A whole bunch of other games that I can't think of right now.

In my opinion its the best digital distribution system at the moment and its the only one I really like. The games they carry are actually good and they don't have any stupid monthly fees or download restrictions like Direct2Drive and GameTap do.

I used Steam up until I got sick of CS:S. Which was about the same time as I got C&C3.
And once TF2 comes out, I'll probably be on Steam 36 hours a day.

I have a few games on it. I'll occasionally play Day of Defeat: Source. Other than that not much. Might get Team Fortress Two eventually, but considering I'm currently broke, that might not be any time soon.

I used to use Steam (wonder if my account is still active), but only out of necessity. Most of it just seemed like a bunch of anti-piracy bull.

I've been thinking of actually beating Half-Life 2 lately, so I might get back into it.

What about just "CoA"?

yeah, CoA is good.

You should DEFINITELY finish HL2. And get the orange box, so you can then finish Episodes 1 and 2.
...except that I already have episode 1. Those bastards, making me re-buy everything. I should sell my old CD key on the internet to pirates just to spite them.

Ha! Grin

I know I should finish it. Hell, I should finish Half-Life 1 as well, which I think I picked up some time after getting HL2. Bah, I'll get to them eventually.

They've got Bioshock now?!?!! So going there tonight.
Oh yeah, just City of Amnesia would be good so that everyone who posts here can easily recognise us but i like the Paradigm Military Police much better though.

Every group gets a name and an abbreviation, so if we use the name "City of Amnesia" then the abbreviation can be "CoA".

Just keep in mind that 2K Games did not feel like trusting Steam to protect its game from piracy, so they forced Valve to include SecuRom on the Steam version of Bioshock. The Steam version of Bioshock has a five install limit just like the regular CD version.

Bioshock is the only game on Steam that has this problem. All other Steam games can be downloaded and installed as many times as you want after you buy them.

Lame...

In that case, City of Amnesia sounds like it'd work, and seems just ambiguous enough. However, I probably won't be too involved, so you can discount my opinion if you'd like.

Should it be public or invite only?

I think making it a public group would make it easier for people to join, but there's always the chance that it might get flooded by people who are not actually registered here.

We should put together a Team Fortress clan.
