...You've never actually read somethingawful have you

No, I've read a bit. Probably not as much as you, but enough. There are Big O fans in there. When someone started a thread entitled "The Big O" to make fun of an old romance novel of the same title, there was a bunch of posts saying "I came in there for the giant fighting robots. Where are the giant fighting robots? That's the only Big O I acknowledge," and so forth.

For the record, SomethingAwful I do respect. Amidst all the cynicism and low-brow humor, there are people who make intelligent discussion.

Delusion? Heh. Well, say what you want. I'm washing my hands of the drive on the 14th.

Low-brow isn't the word I'd really use, they're generally funnier than 99.99% of the internet.

And no what I meant is...they like big o, just not to the degree where this would seem feasible I'm sure, sort of like...everyone else I've come across not on this forum that liked it.

Right. I love Roughnecks, and they cancelled at the worst possible time (right before the invasion of Earth). So now I want to see more, but I know I never will. So I enjoy what I have. Too many decent shows get ended before their time, but I think that Big O had more closure than some to it.

And for the record, I felt like Big O had anti-closure. The ending confused the hell out of me.

Jake 2.0 (The the show title was meh, but the show was good. Unlike similiar shows, super powers didn't guarantee "top agent" status. Each episode, Jake earned or lost status. He was still a lowly agent when the show was cancelled.)

Act 26 of Big O was confusing, and by design was intended to have anti-closure, according to the P-C.com forums. (Read the translated Act 26 synopsis.) Konaka's original Act 26 provided closure, but CN asked that the ending be rewrote, to accomodate a third season. Maybe they should just create Konaka's Act 26, and make the current Act 26 a "lost episode" on future DVD collections?

I see a single episode as a much more likely prospect than an entire new season. Cartoon Network isn't interested in continuing an expensive series with low pay off. A single episode, however, seems feasible, as it isn't much of a sacrifice for a single 22, 24 minute show.
