I thought I heard it would be two, but didn't feel like looking for proof.

I'm still waiting to see the series. Hopefully, it isn't too butchered by Sci Fi.

The Bandai dub will be playing on Sci-Fi, and we've no clue who's acting in it. I can't really see any major changes or even minor ones being the result of US FCC regulation... the show isn't *that* risque.

It's not the FCC, since they have no jurisdiction on pay-for services. Sci Fi's just really, oddly strict when it comes to sex/nudity and swearing.

And yet they show Tokko? So long as they keep "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!", I'm satisfied.

I think I saw one episode of Tokko, so I can't comment on that.

That line's translation is up to Bang Zoom.

I tell you think, if they screw up that line... they're going to have the entire Dai Gurren-dan nation rise up and utterly beat the CRAP outta them.

I'm pretty sure Bang Zoom won't screw things up. The L.A studios generally are much more faithful to the original than their Texas counter parts from my experience.

Two thoughts:
#1 That battle would be EPIC!
#2 If anyone could post footage of that riot on YouTube, watching it would almost make up for them
    screwing up that line... almost...

Here's bandai's Cast for the dub. Seems Steven Blum is in it, smart move on Bang Zoom's part.

predictable move on Bang Zoom's part.

Given that he's in everything ever, I think that's what you meant.

lol yeah, personally I had a feeling he was gonna show up but I personally would have gotten some one else. Although I'm glad Kyle Hebert is showing up more.

So... Steve Blum plays the gay character... this should be interesting after all his roles as title macho/cool/masculine guys.

They picked "new" talent (for lack of a better word) for Kittan.... and the voice of "Rex Raptor" from the YuGiOh series is Viral? o_O

Tony Oliver is the voice director!?!?! AWESOME!! I have great respect for the voice actor of Lupin the 3rd *nods* But I question having him (Tony Oliver) as the Narrator and not someone who sounds like an older Simon.

Hmm... looks like a partial Big O reunion here. As Tony Oliver played "Dove" and "T-Bone", Steven Blum "Roger Smith", Jamieson Price "Big Ear", Karen Strassman was the receptionist in Act19, and Michelle Ruff (aka Fujiko from LupinIII) was "Laura" from Daemonseed.

Our first look at the English Dub... with user commentary.
I want to hate it, as I'm used to the original japanese... but I'm actually liking it for what it's worth.
