Caspian was pretty good.

And Crystal Skull isn't a waste, it's just not nearly as good as the other Indiana Jones movies.

Crystal Skull was an awesome, awesome movie. I'd say it's at least almost as good as Raiders and Crusade.

Speed Racer was terrible.

Spritle was terrible.  I hated him in every scene he was in except the flicking off.

I really only laughed when it was trying to be serious, and usually facepalmed when it tried to be funny.

I disagree with most of what Money said.
I haven't even seen Indy4, but I'm agree with Hobo in disagreeing with Money.

Crystal Skull was fun/entertaining, but I wouldn't say it's anymore than that, which is exactly how it should be.

Chalk it up to expectations, I guess. I didn't know what to expect for Indy 4, but assumed the mythology part of it would carry the same weight that it had in the others, and ended up feeling like it was just inconsequential to the action of the movie. Of all the things I expected would go wrong, that wasn't one of them, and ended up feeling burned for it. Eh. If you don't agree there's no problem with that.

Same goes for Speed Racer. I had low expectations, and was more than pleasantly surprised. It had bad dialogue, and the action was interrupted frequently by nonsense bits from spridle and chim chim -- which is pretty much exactly what I remember the show as being. Added to some clever film making and wonderfully choreographed everything, and the result was something I really enjoyed. I found it to be a much better experience overall, and those of my buddies that saw both of them agree.

To each his own.

I was looking through some old VHS videos and found Heavy Metal. So my cousin and I watched it. I watched it for the first time in 3rd grade(behind my dad's back of course) and still it makes no sense to me haha.

Then we watched Team America.

Kung Fu Panda

Awesome movie, honest. It was hilarious. Jack Black was great, as were all the supporting characters, some of whom were a bit surprising when I first heard them. And the fight sequences were quite spectacular, to boot.

It's not supposed to make sense, since the central "storyline" is loose at best. It's really an amazing demonstration of animation techniques, however. Really, a modern artistic masterpiece.
Make it so.

Saw Zohan last night.

Had some funny parts, very juvenile humor, but still pretty fun.

Two days ago, I had the option to go see Speed Racer, Iron Man, or Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I'm so very glad I chose the first.
