It looks like R.Smith and other fellow fans at Reboot Revival site have succeeded!*edit* Well I take that back, just checked over at the RebootRevival site, and there's a little blurb about the webpage in question ReBoot.com has a countdown that once completed should be the launch of the web-comic (though this is unconfirmed at the moment). The TV Series is still a ways away, but it looks like a web-comic should be coming soon. |

Reboot is always good.
Hopefully this might lead to one of those concepts from a whiles back getting made, since we can't very well have a straight continuation without Megabyte.
Well, from what I've heard from my "once in a blue moon" chats with R.Smith, and from looking at RebootRevival, should the series get the greenlight for another season it WILL be the continued story (starting at the cliffhanger we were left with). I don't think it'll be treated as starting over or as a new show, but picking up where the team left off years ago. I get this vibe seeing as how the original production team is all for this, but they need funding (kinda like SeasonIII of Big O back in 2004). To my knowledge it wasn't that the ratings sucked or the show fell flat... the people in control of airing the show screwed it over. (again, like Big O) |

The web-comic [...] is what Rainmaker (formally Mainframe Ent, they were bought up) wanted to make to make sure they had something that would not only have a large loyal fanbase but a viable new one.
They've been gathering data to show to investors, which will in-turn allow them to have funds for the trilogy of movies made for IMAX.
Based on how well things go, there might be a series on the air before 2012 [a guesstimated date pulled from the air] and a boxset of the previous seasons out as well.
[...] the heads at Rainmaker have apparently dismissed the original creators as not being able to create something that will appeal to a new audience. Courtesy of the good R.Smith So there you have it... this is, as I call it, a promotional stunt which will allow the parent company to see just what kind of audience/impact bringing back ReBoot will have. The bad news... the original team who created and made ReBoot are not part of this. So, God knows what a new season would turn out to be like. |

The comic viewer pisses me off. The pages are tiny, you have to blow up each individual speech balloon to read it, the whole mechanics of it just suck.
