It isn't Anime, but Money thinks of Anime as Cartoons and thusly Cartoons are also Anime

Anyway, this is the thread where we talk about how great this show is/was (or how much you disliked it), about how much of a trainwreck the movie is going to be (trainwreck here carrying the implication that I will, in fact, be watching it), favorite/least favorite character, favorite/least favorite episode, et cetera

Picture relevant to at least one of the above

Likewise.

As for Avatar, it was a pretty solid show. Didn't have many problems with it, well other than it's sometimes crazy female fan base.

I love Avatar.  I haven't seen all of the final season yet.  I read the episode summeries though and can't wait to see them.  ::wishes the vid store was open now.  I'd go see if they had 'em to rent::   Tongue

I loved this show.

I didn't see any of it until the final season was already airing, and started at the beginning some Wednesday, watched the first three or four episodes by Friday, and that Friday night got caught up to them being in Ba-Sing-Se.

Anywho, Sokka's Master is indeed an awesome episode, but Ember Island Players is the best filler episode of any show that I can remember.

I never did get past a couple episodes into the second season. 'Twas a cool show, though.

I really hope that his cast doesnt mess up this movie...it has a very sound story line and could be a year end blockbuster if they direct it right..crossing my fingers....and toes..

That should have been understood as soon as you knew Shamalamahey-o was on-board.

Is the movie going to be live action? *shudders*

You know, my siblings and I watch this every timje it comes on,. but I have gotten sick of the Ba-Sing-Se episodes. I´ve had the misfortune to watch them each about 5 times. Other than that I love the show. I beleive people have gone so far as to call it American Anime... Technically Money is correct in that all cartoons are anime, the word is from the french version of animation.
Zuko is my favorite. Hands down. I love how you can see his character grow, and his uncle was a relief at times. =]

Avatar was pretty cool. Mainly for two reasons:

1. It was very well animated
2. It actually had a continuous plot for an American cartoon!
(3 would be voice acting but many cartoons that don't have the first two do somehow have good voice acting)

I missed the last 5 or 6 episodes but generally I watched the whole series (as well as got the very easy to get 1000 achievement points from renting the avatar game on 360). I'm not looking forward to the movie. Hollywood ruins anything decent.

it would be nice to have a human zuko to fawn over. You know, they keep making animes into movies, and i'm horrified, but japanese do this constantly. and i love them! the difference is what they're making into live action. whatever. this is yet another thing i won't be able to keep from watching, if only eventually....
