Well Lupin still retains his French name... which is "Arsene Lupin the 3rd"... with his father being Aresene Lupin the 2nd, and his grandfather being the infamous French gentleman theif. I'm pretty sure he's pure French.

Spike looks Jewish because of that big Jew-fro. Of course... Jewish isn't really a race...
The hair was based on some Japanese actor that the creator liked. Watch...um...one of the special features...like the interview with the creator or a bunch of people in general...on the DVD for Cowboy Bebop the Movie...I can't remember what it was exactly, because I lost the movie about a year or two ago. I got it for christmas and watched it repeatedly that weekend... EDIT: I made this post and then took to the floor to sleep. But then it hit me that someone said that they heard Angelina Jolie was to play Faye, and I just couldn't go without commenting. 404 FORBIDDEN! Seriously. Faye has not lips that large, nor that sound of voice, nor hips THAT big...persay... Angelina isn't pale enough to be Faye! Nor is her hair right, and I don't care what Hollywood can do, shoot whoever started that rumor and just let her stay as Lara Croft. Don't ruin Faye. I wish I could make better suggestions, but right now I'm having trouble coming up with female actresses at all, aside from Catherine Zeta-Jones, Molly Ringwald...um...yeah..I was watching Chicago, the Breakfast Club, and Sixteen Candles recently. Who played Trixie in Speed Racer? Make her bitchy-like and maybe she could pull off a form of Faye. Okay, enough rambling for now. I'm going to bed. I just couldn't leave that alone.

Got a little info here from a friend on Gaia. It says that Keanu is to play Spike. I thought about it, and it didn't seem like too bad a cast there. I've been trying to come up with who can play Spike, and was drawing a blank. http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/13950.html

No... it gets worse. Next year is slated for: "The Green Hornet", "The A-Team", "Robin Hood", "Sherlock Holmes", "Shrek: Forever After", "Alice in Wonderland", and yet another Toy Story. The only thing I look forward to is "The Last Airbender" (as in AVATAR: The Last Airbender), and that's because they changed the cast before shooting began to make it less WHITE. Why the frak is there an A-Team movie? A Green Hornet movie (which will suck as bad as The Shadow movie)... another Robin Hood? Alice in Wonderland starring JOHNNY DEPP?! Are you @#%&ing kidding me? No, I refuse to have Depp ruin another childhood classic.

We lost the need for the A-team years ago.
Anyway, at least it's not some White chick playing Saiya. There would be hell if there were. I...might go see it...on DVD...
I saw the trailer for The Last Airbender at Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and I went "What. The. Fuck."

And Seth Rogen is playing the Green Hornet.
I didn't get to see any trailers at the IMAX Transformers.

Anyway, at least it's not some White chick playing Saiya. It will end up being the usual Hollywood casting of "all Asians are the same". As for the Avatar trailer, I have to say, I wasn't impressed at all, and given the fact it's directed by M. Night I sense a plot twist ending.
