What can be said?
Martial Arts comedy with a guy who turns into a girl, his dad who transforms into a panda, and his rival who changes into a black piglet along with his various fiancées he meets up with. If you can, watch and/or read this, now. It is far superior to Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi's other semi famous work. War.

It's a great creation with much uniqueness however the more you get into the series/manga, the more it seems to lose it's appeal (we, for me that is). Inuyasha is still much better...

If you like a show where absolutely nothing happens, yes, Inuyasha is awesome. However, Ranma had far more 3 dimensional characters, and even better story, comedy that was funny and an ending. War.

When i said 'Inuyasha is better' i meant the manga, i haven't seen the series. However i do agree that that Ranma had more better character types.
I also didn;t know that the series had ended...what about the manga, has that ended to?

Yes, Rumiko Takahashi ended the manga. It was about 30 or so volumes into it, but she ended it. Hence, Ranma = better.
Plus Ranma is far more of a bad ass than Inuyasha. War.

Wait, the same person made this, which is a beloved classic, as made Inuyasha, which is made of suck? Wow. 20 years makes a big difference.
I've never actually seen/read Ranma, but it was one of the first animes I ever heard of and i never heard anything bad about it.

Ranma's English voice is the same voice actor as Inuyasha. Something oh so funny. War.

I never could find the plot in rnama, though...

There is no plot.
That is exactly the point. Yet despite no plot, more is accomplished than in Inuyasha. War.

too true, sadly. still, no bashing, please. and then people argue that they don't like animes that have no point. like bobobobobobobo. the point is to not have a point. there always tends to be and underlying, unintentional point anyway.

Ranma is pure awesome, though, I must say that I preferred the Manga to the anime. Yes, absolutely nothing happened in it, but it managed to be completely hilarious nonetheless. Ryoga is one of my favorite characters of all time, and Pantyhose Tarou is underrated as far as the one or two shot 'villains' go. It *IS* better than Inuyasha, though I imagine Inuyasha is the more popular here on western shores. Rumiko's other series, I think called Lum, I haven't checked out yet. I keep meaning to, but eh.
