I tried watching that one Comedy Central show, Important Stuff with, oh hell I forget his name. Trying to figure how he's funny and why he merits a show. I've also been watching Tosh.0 cause I'm a fan of Mr. Tosh, and the Interwebz videos are also a plus.

Also Pawn Stars.

Demitri Martin is awful. He was the weakest part of the daily show when he was on there.

Tosh.0 on the other hand I like. Probably since I generally don't follow the entire 'youtube scene' as it were (ever read the comment sections on there? It's enough to make you pray for your modem to suddenly combust) so most of the stuff isn't played out for me

Indeed. I think I gave up on Important stuff when one of his jokes was talking about running a marathon but doing so running in a stereotypical manner. Grade A comedy, amirite?

I also try an watch Red Eye when ever I get the chance.

Deadliest Warrior season 2. Still providing mindless, goofball fun, even if the "science" behind it is rage inducing.

The season finale of Human Target was BAD-ASS. This is one of my favorite things on TV right now.

I'm still waiting for Lost to wrap up so I can watch the whole season in one shot on Hulu. Having to wait a week for the new episode always makes me forget everything that happened on the last episode.

Yeah, Lost definitely goes slower when you're watching it week after week, but marathoning it, things tie together more and you're all "oooh yeah!"  I still currently watch it every Tuesday, but it's hard to remember what happened (even with the good filler episodes).  Especially with this entire thing about Jacob and MIB, you have to keep a close watch on literally everything.

Caught it last night. GSG9 vs. SWAT.

Americans win... narrowly. In some cases, we simply had better gear. Also, being a SWAT officer sounds more rigorous. And wow, I couldn't even tell those instructors were German. They had almost no accent whatsoever.

I'm curious to see how the hell they plan on simulating a battle between Attila and Alexander next week. Seems fishy.

I don't think they where German at all. Most of the match ups are one sided or suffer from so many stereotypes it makes a Warrior look bad. Case in point was the Viking v.s Samurai episode. Viking lost because his gear was used the wrong way and was portrayed poorly. Throwing two hand held spear =WTF, using a fake Viking Shield = WTF. An actual Viking shield is light, durable and not strapped to you damn arm and is design to break apart but still be used effectively. Also using a Canadian comedian, who came from England and happens to be Japanese is face palm worthy. I'm not expecting much from the Attila v.s Alex one, I know it's gonna be one sided. They have also managed to screw up the Aztec Jaguar Knight as well i.e he is not wearing his trademark armor, helmet and his shield.

Deadliest warrior is hilarious

I like how now they have the dummies loaded with fake blood that just sprays out

Ballistic gel torsos on robot carts driving around getting shot is just entertaining. It's like battlebots except taken seriously, and with firearms.

Seems fishy.

Fishy? Did you see the "IRA vs Spetsnaz" special they aired before the premire. They had a dude who was (at least SUPPOSEDLY) ex-Spetsnaz versus a guy who was a historian and was somehow related to Michael Collins.

So all the weapons tests were basically "Ex-military versus a historian whos relative was a revolutionary, whos a better shot". This shits in no way accurate, it's just fun to watch. The mock-battles are hilariously brutal

And if you're taking this seriously. 1) The GSG9 should have squared off with the FBI Hostage Rescue Team since thats the closest U.S. analogue. 2) When they did the sniper rifle test, apparently the GSG9 uses a different rifle than was shown

oh totally. Skoti Collins is actually a bit part actor, in fact most of "experts" are indeed actors. Like the Samurai expert, Tetsuro Shigamatsu, is actually a Canadian comedian, actor, and radio show host. Hell, even Sala Baker makes an appearance, aka the guy who did Sauron's voice in Lord of the Rings.

"Activate the combat-bots" (or whatever the exact line was)

*Ballistic gel torsos on moterized scooters start rolling around*

I fucking lol'd, it's a fun show.

The "ZEN ARCHER" guy in the Ninja vs Spartan episode?

If the Spetsnaz dudes an actor, thats fine cause in the "Spetsnaz versus green berets" episode or whatever, when they test the grenade he drops it into the target they use, then walks off and lights a cigarette as it explodes

The hell with authenticity, that was just zany

The Spetsnaz guy is def. an actor.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3398053/

Here's Tetsuro Shigimatsu's stuff

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetsuro_Shigematsu

He's the dude from Viking v.s Samurai. He studied dance in Japan for two years, so I guess that's his martial arts background in a nut shell.

The usual scene with the gel torso is like this more often than not:

Geoff: "Start the robot."
*Robot starts towards the target and is stabbed, shot, or something and is totally destoryed.*
Geoff: Holy shit! Did you see that? That was fucking crazy!"
*Armand checks the torso8
Armand:This guys dead.

The Ninja experts where voice actors/actors.

The Shaka Zulu v.s William Wallace episode is a riot as well.

I wonder if Capone's syphillis will come into play.

soooo, yeah. Lost ended.

And I actually liked how it ended. Unlike the end of The Sopranos, I didn't want to punch anything.
