It's me! Randolf! Formerly PCF's Randolph! Who was formerly known as Rekkoha! At last, I've found you all!

For four long years after promising to return around Thanksgiving of '06, I have pined for the witty and boisterous companionship of my fellow Big O fans!

...and I get the sneaking suspicion that absolutely no one remembers me and/or cares!

Quick! Prove me wrong and give me good feelings.

- - -

All silliness aside, for what it's worth, I'm glad I've found this place. I'm also glad to see a lot of the old PCF crowd remain.

Can any one of you kind souls direct me towards Fallen Phoenix? I want to apologize to him for missing out on the MFL pretty much completely after trying so hard to become a member.

Welcome back Rek! I'm not sure where Fallen is, unless they are using a different user name here. Sadly the MFL has all but died out, and the attempts to bring it back all fizzled out.

...place sure is quiet these days. I have to admit, I knew things died down considerably towards PCF's end, but still, I'm a bit surprised at how little activity there is. I guess there's a not a lot to be said about Big O anymore, at least for the previous generation of fans.

Let me see if I can hunt down anybody I know.

Yep, even though most of the Big O discussion has died off, I'm surprised people don't post in the other sections more often. It be more active if we had more than about 6-7 regulars that post here.

I'm still confused about why the old boards needed to be shut down. Were they really that hard to maintain?

Probably. I guess all of the gibberish we did way back at the beginning -- when we were so very excited about our lovely new film-noir mecha anime -- accumulated below the surface until it had to be forcibly removed. Kind of like bypass surgery. And now we have a new forum to play in. Kind of like a heart transplant.

But things aren't moving so fast nowadays. Kind of like cardiac arrest.

You have no need for me.

Yeah, that sums things up in a grim way.

Well Randolf, your a bit before my time, but hello to you all the same.

I talked to Fallen, oh, six months ago I think. Once via e-mail and once in a thread. He was talking about my fanfiction and how he's planning to comment on it, etc. Never did. I remember him telling me, 4 years ago, that he's really bad about keeping commitments. lol.

We have not met! Hello. While you were rubbing elbows in PCF, I was thrashing about in the dark (and in retrospect, kinda creepy) little sanctuary of SBO.

It might help the activity if this forum had more of an identity. I try to generate interest with my occasional creative contributions.

Seeing as how we have a Creative Works forum, maybe I should display some of my own artwork here. I've learned to use Blender, and I've been quite busy this last year. It might generate a wee smidgen of interest, or at the very least make some regular new posts.

Damn it all, I wish I knew more about recent anime. I can barely talk to people around here anymore. I've completely lost track.

If only I could find some legit streaming sites. And had about ninety bazillionty hours to spend watching them. And ninety bazillionty United States Dollars to spend on DVDs and swag. Which may at some point find itself either buried in mud or donated to the Salvation Army.

...I hit my head on a solid concrete wall yesterday. My apologies if I'm a bit disjointed.

Welcome back, Randolf.  I think I remember seeing you around PCF.  I was just a lurker over there, so you wouldn't know me.

I'm still confused about why the old boards needed to be shut down. Were they really that hard to maintain?
Seriously, man?  There were pages and pages of posts about that toward the end.  I think it's even on the PC homepage last I checked.  You'd have to be pretty dense to miss all that, heh.

Yeah, same here, but I did lurk regularly at PCF back in the day.  Haha, I know exactly what you mean about the creepiness at SBO.

I'm not a big anime watcher, but I've heard that Crunchyroll is pretty good.  I think Funimation.com streams stuff, too.

Crunchyroll went legit a while back. Funimation streams stuff, as well as ANN, which in turn is mostly Funimation stuff.

Thanks, Readerman and Graham. I took a look at Funimation, and I think I can get used to that place (even if they lack any discernible DBZ). As for Crunchyroll, I'm going to explore them tonight.

I've always wondered how Trinity Blood turned out....

I seem to remember it dying down and only having a few members at the end. It was basically like this.
