Question about the 4chan

So yeah I have some question about 4chan. Don't worry I do know what a newfag and /b/ are. That's not what I'm curious about.

So I know /b/ is internet cancer and /m/ is mecha, but what do the other things at the top mean? /a/, /c/, /r9k/ those things, what do they mean? And are /h/ and /p/ hentai and porn? I only ask because I know it's in there some where and don't want to click it by accident.

And is there a search bar on that site? if there isn't, why!?

One more thing. Because it is obvious that the TV cancer known as Adult Swim must use 4chan to get the ideas for their horrible shows why have they not paid attention the the posts with Big O in them. more then 900+ posts about Big O alone. I found some old /m/ archives with Big O posts, and more then 95% saying they want the series to continue, so does AS only go into the /b/ section of 4chan?

With all due sincerity, why do you even want to make use of 4Chan in the first place? What do they have you can't get elsewhere? I mean, do they have some wicked huge collection of anime pictures you want access to? Can't you get those anywhere else?

I believe /H/ and /P/ may very well stand for Hentai and Porn, respectively. I'm no authority on the subject, and I could be wrong, but those are (in my opinion) the most likely definitions that would occur to them. This is the Internet, after all.

As for trying to reason out AS... forget about them. Please, just let it go. What motivates their decisions is not our concern. They did not care about Big O; they never did. Nor do they care about what else they show. I can't even explain it.

As to why I want to use 4chan. I prefer the mecha chat section, but I am curious about other sections as well, mainly what are the for.
The mecha section has tons of links to Japanese mecha shows and other things that I like.

They are a network (or..well for nielson purposes they're classified as a 'full network' now, I'm not sure how the actual business aspect works vis a vis them and cartoon network) and they care about money.

Big O didn't get the ratings to justify the cost of season 2, which they helped foot the bill for (weird way to show a lack of concern if you ask me but oh well). It happens. Deal with it.

Theres plenty of other things to rail at them about. You wanna blame somebody? Blame the audience, theres a reason family guy reruns are consistently the top rated program on there.

Yeah, other then that I don't see how a show starring a drunken retard gets any ratings. And I'm surprised more people aren't complaining. Seeing as a movie with a retard soldier got boy cotted why hasn't this show had the same problems?
Stewie, however, is kinda funny, but they could do a whole TV show about him and screw family guy imo. Fuck all the other characters, just do a show about a murderous baby and family guy would be gone premenantly <(I can't spell this freaking word).

Stewie needs a family around him, otherwise he has no one to interact with in humorous ways. But yes, he does have the staying power to hold up the show, even if the rest of the family are literally soulless stick people. Actually, that would likely be hilarious.
