The Main Dr. Grordbort's Site.
The Art Contest by WETA New Zealand.
Some steampunk awesomeness for your viewing pleasure. The three videos available at the end of the second linked page are required viewing.

I kept seeing this stuff on my way around the BlenderArtists forum and the Blender Foundation main site. Sure, it's mostly a gimmick to get you to buy WETA's $1,000+ hand-crafted raygun props, but you have to admit, it's decidedly cool regardless.

On the main site, I recommend the Compartmentalised Pictographs (comics, all six of them) and the Testimonials. There's more stuff in the same vein you can get if you don't mind dropping some cash, like the monthly magazine.

10+ point for Randolf.

This is the epic. You have made this Steampunk a happy one.
Now I will say good day to you, as I must watch these videos.

If you snoop around on YouTube, you can find a modest collection of other videos related to Greg Broadmore's inventions, including a brief clip where Greg himself speaks on the subject. I think the Weta New Zealand site should also have links to some of these.

If you need further proof of authentic win, the official book is titled "Victory!".

Also: there are as-yet unconfirmed rumors not only of possible Dr. Grordbort's computer games, but even a film. I'm not sure of the dates on those, so maybe these rumors were disproved a long time ago-- I wouldn't know.

So that's what happened to Venus...

Pretty cool stuff. The Pearce 75 Miniature is only $60, which doesn't sound too bad, until you realize how small it really is.

The Battery: Greg Broadmore

The master's very own page, where the maker of the Dr. Grordbort's universe showcases pieces of work for a variety of projects (some of it of a more adult flavor, but trust me, I've seen worse).

theEND: when they say miniature, they're not kidding. Some of the minis can be compared to coins in size. The big and nice stuffs vend for hundreds or even thousands (at least one large ray rifle with some customizable options went for around $2,400 or so).

If it were within my grasp and affluence to do so, I'd love a full-size Unnatural Selector-- especially if it actually shot death-rays. Alas, both dreams must remain unrealized.

Thinking of working on a Steampunk costume at the moment myself.

I want a steampunk cyber eye thing.
It's an eyepatch with a camera in it that can zoom in and out and take pics. I think their around $200 for a good one though.
