I can't take this out of my head  Angry
a lot of people say the megaton rockets
 is it's most powerful attack.
I have the feeling its more akin to O thunder.
 then Big Duo's final stage.
So tell me , Honestly What Would Big Duo's Final Stage/ Attack really be?

Duo only has two stages. Normal and Inferno.

 Smiley thanks for nothing ...
I am talking about his attacks not his forms.
I don't see Inferno as worthy of ever being discussed  ....
I like the original.... (*who needs giant drill hands?) Not me<

I like Inferno. It's all aggressive and sadistic, like Alan.

Both Duo's are symbolic of there masters. The original Duo is covered in wrapping when we first see him, much like Shwarz. Later, when he is unmasked, the attacks used in battle are a play on Shwarz's mind state, overly destructive and aimed at the Domes.

Inferno, like R. Dan said, is twisted like Alan. The new face given to Duo reflects Alan's wish to be more then human, and his twisted mind. And the way Big O is attacked by Inferno shows Alan's hatred of Roger.

That's not what he was talking about, babidoops. He simply meant the Ultimate Attack. It's no matter, anyway. He has been excommunicated by the High Amnesia Cabal.

To actually answer the question, the only attack anywhere near powerful enough to be considered Big Duo's "Final Stage" that was seen in-show was the Megaton Missile attack at the end of Act 12. Two blockbuster bombs to size of small buildings? Yup, that's pretty damn powerful.

Some folks have devised their own weapons (non-canon) which could be Big Duo's "Final Stage", but as far as the show and the manga those two missiles are it.

I think they're completely sufficient, especially after Vogler's description.

Fau doesn't even need a "Final Stage." What the chest cannons and tentacles lack in explosive power, which is to say they lack barely anything at all, they compensate for by being able to fire rapidly and in multiple directions.

I think they're completely sufficient, especially after Vogler's description.

Were the target anyone but Big O (and maybe also Fau), they would be sufficient. However, Roger is an extraordinary pilot and Big O an extraordinary megadeus, even though both of their capabilities are understated (two great aspects of the show, since you never knew what would happen next...). So, many then downplay Duo's missiles.

Fau doesn't even need a "Final Stage." What the chest cannons and tentacles lack in explosive power, which is to say they lack barely anything at all, they compensate for by being able to fire rapidly and in multiple directions.

I always took Fau's "rocket punch" as being a type of "Final Stage" (even though stills reveal it wasn't Fau's final manuever) because the chest cannons and tentacles can fire several rounds, but
you only have two fist's to launch, and as we saw, your fighting capacity (or at least your melee) capacity is diminished after that attack. That is, IF of course your opponent survives...

I like to imagine that the fists would circle back and somehow dock in the arm rings again. It's ridiculous and impossible like a retro robot should be.

I figured that was the deal, too. It just got messed up with Big O caught them and then squished them to little bits.

...which is perhaps the most badass way of saying "screw your attack" in the second series.

Well I always considered that Fau was made primarily to be used under water (in pre-apocalyptic Paradigm City that is). Thus for water attacks the arms could easily return to for another attack, or possibly be controlled remotely.
