I particularly enjoyed the Wolf's Rain OST, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, FLCL, and Beck. The must from all of these series have stuck with me and I still listen to them on a regularly basis. There of course are more OST's out there for anime, but none had as much impact as the ones I mentioned. Opinions on your favorite anime music?

Also, FLCL (if that counts) too. Peace.

I have to agree, Cowboy Bebop is my favorite OST, I doubt any other can match up to it. (Except maybe Trigun's OST)

Bruce Faulconer's Dragon Ball Z soundtrack, of course. That is awesome, and the music for Cell's death is amazingly dramatic. It's all pure instrumental, and it just kicks the whole show up a notch. War.

Oh one more, if there isn't a Ghost in the Shell track I've haven't downloaded, that won't last too long.
That's the best for me personally. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't listen to it.
EDIT: From Bebop and Ghost, I'm a HUGE Yoko Kanno fan. My goal in life is to get her to score some of my films when I make it into the industry... oh, and to be able to make said films too. But yeah, Yoko Kanno kawaii~ Peace.

Have you downloaded the whole solid state society ost nine? No! Can you help me with that? Please? So far I have Player (I got that a long time ago), Replica (my favorite song ever at the moment), Zero Signal, Remedium, Tempest and Date of Rebirth. Aren't there something like 18 tracks on the ost? If you could list them out to me, that would be kawaii amazing~ Peace.

Cowboy Bebop is the undisputed king of anime soundtracks. It has some annoying songs, and some of it's plain instrumental songs go on for far, FAR longer than they're actually good for, but for the most part it's Twue Wub.
I've got the Big O OSTs, and they're great, probably their biggest flaw is that they have fifty different versions of the same song. The lack of vocals can be at times grating as well. I think vocals are generally overused in music, but when I listen to so many songs in a row without them, I tend to lose focus and they drift out of my perception.
FLCL... I loved the soundtrack when it was in the show, but listening to the OST I can't actually seem to get into it. I dunno. It's weird.
