I post this because my Japanese teacher compared our class to the Titanic. Everyone one but her took this to mean we are going to fail from the start.

The exact convo is as follows:
"We cannot think negitive thoughts, we must think positive"
Most of us in class "Um, ok"
teacher: "let's be like the Titanic, a happy peaceful voyage"
friend sitting next to me "Well that a bad metaphor, the Titanic sank. Does this mean we're doomed to fail from the start?"
teacher "Oh, yeah you guys are right, bad metaphor! But still, lets be positive."


Me "Oh good lord, please don't let us sink".

It's not the "move from place to place constantly, like the guy from the fugitive or the several thousand things that ripped off that plot" part that'd get me. The robots and/or moonmen would catch a paper trail because I don't like carrying money around.
