Jackal, cool gun, cooler name.

Like I said, I think there are cooler guns without being named "THE JACKAL" or "RIPPER" or "BRAINSPATTER" or something similar.

Vash's gun doesn't need a name because it's not about what the gun can do, it's about what he can do with the gun.

Okay thats a gun from...later than 1947. So if someone could explain to me...the "auto" part.

I mean its clearly semiautomatic, so thats implied...it's not a machinepistol (if it is, everything I have known about USPs/firearms in general/the world around me is a lie), so whats going on here

.45 auto is what they call it nowadays, so you know it's not the old-school revolver .45 round from the old west.

The auto being on the slide seems superfluous...I mean...from my understanding, H&Ks are not cheap. Like these aren't snub nosed .38s you buy from a guy selling fake rolexes. If you purchase one, you're probably aware .45 colt (or..'long colt', which I dont think was ever an official name, it was called that unofficially though, still is) isn't .45 ACP. Or something like .45 long colt isn't your whole area so it'd never cross your mind.

Furthermore, are they even the same size. I can't think they are, would a .45 colt round even FIT in the magazine? Oh well..I once saw a shotgun which literally had "consult manual before use" emblazoned on the side, I keep waiting to see an "aim away from face" warning on one. So who knows.

So my plans to create some patrician class armed with matchlocks, H&K USPs, and 1860 Colts is all for naught?

(Also I need to find someone who can confirm if that cylinder wedge on the colt dragoon is too lose, also the...I forget the technical term..'safety notches'..on my colt, the one that lets you rest the hammer between chambers without it sliding, which the remington lacks, if those are worn away..seems like it, I can still move it on that with my hand. My Colt, as in the one which I never fired and was/is only mine lacks this problem..its also slightly smaller and cooler.)

Trigun's always be one of my top favorites, right behind Berserk, actually. I'm glad they are making the movie. Also the manga is actually better than the show IMO.

Trigun looked good. I have not yet seen Berserk, but I plan on watching some of it. honestly, though, it seems the big things these days is rehashing old anime and cartoons for all they're worth. Live Action Evangelion, Trigun movie, so on and so on...

I'm waiting for some small Japanese film company to get the rights from Toriyama for a Dragon Ball Z film.

I loved Trigun, in my opinion, one of the best animes ever, right up there with Cowboy Bebop and the likes, I hope this movie is worth the wait.

I've heard about this movie, and does anyone know what its all about?

Also yeah, the manga is leagues better than the anime. You get a better in-depth look and aspect into what Vash and his brother really are, as far as the whole "Plant" thing is concerned anyway.
Peace.

"Love and Peace!!!"  Cheesy

I like Trigun because it has some of everything in it. Unique characters, plenty of action, plenty of comedy, and a lot more.
