But taken from another perspective, Baltimore has so much potential. Just imagine how cheap those 33,000 abandoned properties are (and yes, according to the gov't, there are that many)!
Otacon was a mixed bag. On the one hand, it felt like there was nothing to do. On the other hand, I went there on Saturday, when Friday looked like the fun day. I dunno. I didn't visit any panels, either.
Stepping off the bus and deciding to walk around amongst these people was pretty hellish. Having someone go with you is essential for reducing the feeling of social failure.

I've driven through the outskirts once I believe the experience just completely shattered me, mentally, and I blame it for everything wrong in my life. Ohiocon. Ohio had a similar effect on me. |
