I should have watched this when krang mentioned it back on one of the old iterations of this forum

(I have not finished watching it yet. So Imma avoid this thread until then incase somebody fuckin spoils it....but you shouldnt post spoilers openly, in case this thread stars somebody watching it)

Monsters pretty cool, even if it's the purest form of my own Trope, Random Japanese lead, Foreign land. Seriously, my animu is gonna be a western about some random Japanese dude as the lead for no reason what so ever.

Darker than Black is a typical show. Which is fine, except it took itself too seriously. Too much melodrama slammed into me in the first episode for me to care about the rest.

Monster also had grand ambitions, yet from the beginning, it focused on building characters and emotional reactions. It didn't cheapen itself with gratuitous flashiness.

I do love me some supernatural secret police and hot librarian commanders, though.

Sharp, why the f did you start this thread if you don't want anyone to, like, talk about it? Spoil it? You're too late on the boat.
