Why, thank you! He is the only Roger Smith in my mind. Cary Grant could have made a good Roger Smith though, but not as well as Gregory Peck.

Yes but sadly not many actress really have that gorgeous classic look! Lauren Bacall is my favourite actress! Whenever I see her in movies, she just always gets to me. Her and Kim Novak are the most gorgeous women ever.

Gregory Peck would be a terrific Roger.

Spencer Tracy as Dastun?

After seeing Donald O Conner in all of those Hollywood musicals, I couldn't imagine him as Beck.

Steve Mc Queen as Beck?  Nah, not goofy enough.
What about Dustin "Screech" Diamond?  With his hair dyed blond?

Neoncoyote, it's great to find another Mad Men fan.
Jon Hamm would make a great Roger Smith.  He's a bit old but he does have the angst (and the body) for the part.

January Jones as Dorothy?  She has Dorothy's disapproving pout down pat.

Ooh yeah, I could see that!

HAHAHA, oh man. Yes, please! He would make the most perfect Beck ever.

I am totally obsessed with it! When I saw Jon Hamm, my first though was "Woah, he could be Roger Smith." Don Draper does have a mysterious past.

Hm, I never though of January Jones as Dorothy but it makes sense! I could see Elisabeth Moss also being Dorothy.

If Christina Hendricks went back to blonde, she would make an amazing Angel. Vincent Kartheiser gives off that Beck vibe. I think if Pete ruffled his hair a bit, he could totally emulate Beck. Of course, he would have to make his hair blonde too. John Slattery as Alex Rosewater! And Robert Morse as Gordon Rosewater!

I have thought this through way too much. :S

How about Bryan Batt (Salvatore Romano) as Alex Rosewater.   There's something remotely evil about him.
Robert Morse as Gordon Rosewater...Yes!

Oh, Bryan Batt, I never thought of that! He would make an excellent Alex!

Also, I was thinking Aaron Staton (Ken Cosgrove) could also make an excellent Beck. Beck or Alan, either one of them.

Seann William Scott (a.k.a. Stifler from American Pie) could play a very convincing Beck...

I have to agree, Sean William Scott would play a good Beck...

Roger Smith = Huh?
Schwarzwald = Christian Bale
Angel = Gwyneth Paltrow
R. Dorothy = Winona Ryder
Alex Rosewater = Alan Rickman
Daston = Jeff Bridges
Alan Gabriel = Jim Carrey

Christian Bale is a pretty freaky dude, especially when he played a serial killer in American Psycho.

OK, I did some further brainstorming:

Roger Smith - still James Franco (similar to his Harry Osborn portrayal...)
Reese Witherspoon - Angel
Alan Gabriel - Matthew Lillard (from Hackers and Scream)

and how about Summer Glau (from "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") as R. Dorothy?

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1919195392/nm1132359

The way I see it, she would just have to adjust from a somewhat cold and calculating cyborg to a "slightly warmer" less-human (?) android (granted Dorothy's usually "more human" than a terminator). I don't think it would be much of a stretch for Summer, and she does an impeccable "Dorothy stare". Just my 2 cents...
