I went to a game on Sep. 1, and I was amazed by how far along the new Stadium was.

Also, Colorado is knocking the crap out of Arizona 5-1 at the top of the 9th right now.

Yeah. Everyone had them losing this game because of Brandon Webb but look how well that happened. Anyway, game's over at that same score. I still have the Rockies winning this series, and even more so now.

Just waiting for the ALCS now.
Peace.

...well, Rockies made it like I had and the Red Sox survived for another day to play against the Indians.

So Mike, how bout that open position in the Yankees? You know the one I mean...
Peace.

Cursed the owner of the yankees for not cuting Torre some slack trying to do a Bernie Williams on him.  Good decision for Joe to leave he will be miss dearly.  Chances is Donny will take the job.

Yeah, I'm hoping for Donnie Baseball.
Mostly because A-Rod, Pettite, and Rivera really like him.

Also Cleveland got their ASSES kicked last night. I guess Boston has really figured out Sabathia.
I didn't realize how huge he is, either. Seriously he looks like Babe Ruth.

HAHAHAA...

My original prediction was right. Rockies vs. Red Sox in the World Series. I feel like Red Sox in six, at most.
Peace.

Who do i WANT to win? Colorado. Not only because they're not Boston, but because they've never won it all, and they were pretty far out of first place in September.
Boston is GOOD, though. Damn good. And i've only seen like 1/4 of a Rockies game, so I can't really make a prediction.

Who has the home field advantage? In this case, it actually makes a difference.
For once, playing in Denver might be really bad for the Rockies because, apparently, it just snowed. Coors Field is known for having tons and tons of home runs because the air is thin and really dry in Denver. But if it's cold as hell that'll pretty much cancel that out.
As for Fenway, well, we all saw how much of an advantage that gives the Red Sox the past couple nights.

Once again, it is the AL who has it this year. It gets decided by the winner of the All Star game remember?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
It's probably going to be the AL for a looooong time.
I think that Colorado has a pretty good advantage in the 3 games they have at home, since Boston won't have slow-ass David Ortiz as DH.
But the Rox could very well get their asses handed to them. I don't think they've faced each other at all this season.

They did during inter-league. Colorado won 2 out of 3 times, including getting two home runs out of Josh Beckett. I still have the Red Sox in six games though.
Peace.

What is it about the playoffs that turns some guys (like Beckett) into unhittable monsters and other guys (like Wang) into little leaguers?

Pressure. Some guys step up, others can't handle it.
Peace.

So I heard the Sox won the World Series, then. Not that I was really surprised by the outcome.
