*kicks thread back to life*

Started to play Chocobo's Dungeon on the Wii. It's a good, if not odd, Final Fantasy game. Even though the games are in the same universe there seems to be no connection between Tales (for the DS) and Dungeon. Even though almost every character is the same as the one's in Tales. The only character that changes is Cid, who was a black mage in Tales and is a treasure hunter now.

It's Cid. He's everything. From an airship captain to leader of a mercenary school to Ruler of Lindblum...Just like Biggs and Wedge are almost always named sidekick characters.

Final Fantasy 101: There will always be Cid, Biggs, and Wedge. Cid is everything. Biggs and Wedge always work together.

^ Yeah. Cid is in everything. Even FF 14, which comes out this winter I think.
Anyway I spent 4 hours yesterday beating Castlevania Circle of the moon. After beating it I immediately went back to playing FF2 for the GBA. Yay, more level grinding and pushing my way through some mistranslated story lines.

Yeah. I have too many games to beat.

So I reoriented my cable line to my tv, and plugged it into my RF adapter that I use for my ps2. So now I finally can use that console for the first time in years.

I played a couple of the bonus missions in MGS2: Substance, then loaded up Dino Crisis

(I did dino crisis on easy mode cause damn..its been a while since I could only use the d-pad in a game)

edit: And when I conquer my fear of buying used games off the internet, probably SH:Origins and Shattered Memories

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

I love it when things go on sale on Steam.

Spyro the dragon. I've been playing for 5 hours and I'm almost done.

(I could swear I stated this all on here, but..maybe it was elsewhere I did so)

The entire x-com series on steam, and GTA: San andreas because it was like 8 bucks for all of them during the steam sale a couple of weeks back.

GTA: SA was awesome...up until the flying school mission. That is like impossible with a keyboard. Rest of the game is great, so its too bad.

So then I went back to x-com. The first one and Terror from the Deep are both fun, but even on beginner level, damn is there a learning curve.

Original Pac Man and Galaxian in Namco Museum DS. Boy, it's tough getting Pac Man to corner using DS controls. Galaxian went OK, but it's been a while since I played, so I'm a little rusty. Great fun, though. I remember playing the LED handheld Galaxian when I was younger - good times...

Fallout 3. Again. All these ads online for New Vegas made me want to play it again. That, and The Force Unleashed is so frustratingly unfinished that I had to go back to something good.

Fallout 3. Again.

I feel like I'm violating some unwritten law by having never played this, considering I've played fallout 2 just a crazy amount of times

(No xbox and I am on a laptop and will be on another one)

PC version of Fo3 is decent. Grab some mods, and gameplay tweaks because vanilla Fo3 is beyond lulzy.
