How do i beat a drone that can't be scanned or locked on? It's also pretty much invisible... and it doesn't give me half a chance. it's in the room where you find the power bomb addition...
PS i'm really too lazy to go on websites specifically for answers, though i probably would get farther faster if i did...

Do you have the wave beam + missile combo?
If you don't, it's easy to get. Go back to the room in Chozo Ruins that had a ton of poison in the floor, and those tentacaley things. There were things you had to scan in order to open a great big door that would lead you to the Charge Beam.
Go there, and go into the water. There's a passage down there that leads to a new room. Climb up to the new room (you have to use missiles to break the blocks on the wall - it'll make sense when you get there) and you'll get the Waveblaster, which kicks the crap out of the cloaked robot thing.
You can also fight it with normal weapons, but it's really hard.
