Fallout 3: The Pitt.

It was pretty short, again, but seemed deeper than Anchorage. Maybe because it had more than one new gun and 2 armors. Plus you can go back there afterwards.

I have the PC version, so mine works. I saw a clip on Youtube of someone attempting to play the 360 version, it looks like someone accidentally posted a working pre-beta build on Live. lulz.

Got a bit tired of playing FFIV a couple days ago, and popped in Pokemon FireRed; got back to IV not long after, though..

The Pitt (latest lulz DLC for FO3) (360)

As usual the art direction is really good, however it's short (beat it in 2 hours), easy, and badly written (I'm Death. I've come for you).

Fallout 2

Good memories here, back when Fallout was well written, with witty and cleaver and not "ZOMG IMMA GOIN INTO VATZ, GOD MOD!".

The Nameless Mod

An epic total conversion mod for Deus Ex.

This is probably the best single player total conversion mod I have ever seen.

In terms of content and gameplay, The Nameless Mod can kick a lot of full games square in the balls and makes fun of their moms.

It's storyline is surprisingly good and well presented despite the admittedly silly concept behind it, a lot better than one would expect from a mod.

I finally downloaded Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, aka the original.

I only care enough to play through GDI, and I've gotten up to the last mission. I think the original Command and Conquer is more creative, and a hell of a lot more difficult than Red Alert. It's not as fully developed as Red Alert, but it's more daring. I enjoy all the missions with building restrictions; they're like puzzles.

The 3d cutscenes are really quaint, although most of them don't have anything to do with any mission. They were a lot cooler when I was 8.

Anyway, to talk about challenges, the last mission for GDI is a beast. Nod can plant down buildings wherever it pleases? Waves and waves of stealth tanks? I relish it. I can't even imagine how I'm going to beat it, but I'm sure it's going to involve a fair amount of chokepoint-camping. With humvees zooming around at home to keep down the infestations.

If anybody has any words of wisdom or recollections of the last GDI mission, please share.

Let's see...

On my 360 I've been alternating between Bioshock and Oblivion.

My PS2 I've been playing Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam.

I've been bouncing between the three.

Fallout 2.

Speaking of Fallout, Bethesda, has outsourced Fallout to Obsidian to make Fallout: New Vegas. Should be interesting since Obsidian is a competent company and not made of fail like Bethsoft is.

I'm starting to see a potential Fallout-GTA parallel here.

Throne of Darkness. A dark fantasy version of Japan meets Diablo, always a fun romp.

Would be interesting but it's more or less a glorified mod for FO3 using the same outdated Gamebryo Engine and generic FPS/ARPG aslopding heads iz teh funny for the bethboys.

Get your $10 Orange Boxes this weekend on Steam!

If you don't have the Orange Box and have a broadband connection, now's your chance to get it for dirt cheap!

Ok back on topic, just got finished playing through The Path. A nice little adventure game that's a bit on the artsy side. It was actually pretty fun while it lasted, even if it was kind of short.
