This is really surprising...

...I mean, the fact that some of you still watch Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon and all the other usual suspects still.
Peace.
When the Anime On-Demand channel starts showing GitS: 2ndGig.... then we'll talk.

Also "Torchwood" ... which is a Doctor Who spin-off apparently.

Also, Nickelodeon..... why the hell did they stop showing good shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and Angry Beavers... and Salute Your Shorts.

So you liked Angry Beavers? Definitely a better show than Spongebob.

Angry beavers was AWESOME.

That and Rocko still rule. You know how I know? I happened across the Nicktoons channel a little while ago and saw Angry Beavers. It was still funny. Unlike everything else, which you can tell will be hated by anyone older than 11.

Angry Beavers, Courage the Cowardly Dog, SAMURAI JACK...

The age of semi decent American cartoons is drawing toward its twilight. And Japan isn't faring much better.

To tell you the truth, I don't give a flying ____ peice of ____ for a ____ing homeless ____ in hell for Cartoon Network. I am 14, and I have moved on to better things (HBO, CINEMAX, STARZ,ECT.) More adult oriented stuff. But I do care for Adult Swim. But saddly, it is on the SAME CHANNEL.

Just because you grow old doesn't mean you grow OUT of your childhood. Courage, Samurai Jack, hell, even the Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab were great.

"Censoring" that kind of language doesn't make it any more appropriate.

Don't do that again.

This is the worst game of mad libs I've ever SEEN. You don't mark what words are needed, verbs or adjectives, nouns maybe?

Cinemax and Starz don't really have any original programming they're just rebroadcasts of movies.

Or maybe cinemax does, I wouldn't really care none of the non-hbo pay cable shows ever looked that appealing

I never watch TV anymore except when I'm at my dad's (okay, that's cause I can't afford cable TV AND internet at my place...), and I don't watch any of the cartoon programming anymore unless I can find old reruns.  I watch daytime TNT (the reruns of shows I like) and CSI.  I'll watch Food Network... and I'll "watch" random stuff as background noise for whatever else I'm doing.

I miss when Nickelodeon was actually good.

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise. I dunno. It just seems like the logical progression. Cartoon Network gets more popular, Cartoon Network, not realizing it's popularity is for its unique stuff generalizes themselves as much as possible to 'keep' their new audience. Cartoon Network settles mediocrity.

To be fair though, I'm pretty sure they have shown live action children's movies before now.

Only one I knew of was Osmosis Jones. And to be frank, that one was shown once, then never again as I understand.
