Yeah, that's what I figured as well. A nice line to tie flashback into the present.

Ding ding ding! You and Finale got it! And why, thank you. Cheesy

Aw. XD; Don't feel dumb~

I'm really finding myself enjoying flashbacks a lot. I think we should make this a pattern for the future.

Hey Gummi, I'd like to work out a kind of collab with you and Big F since we're all in the same room together. I might hash out a basic scene with Roger's lines and PM it to you. Although I'm actually chatting with Mr Big on IM right now.

Sounds good! ^.^ Just PM them to me.

Would it be in poor taste to have Michale walk back into the middle of the library scene and trip over Mr. Vanguard's body? Tongue

Shocked Um...I hate to say this but...yes. I don't think that he'd manage to find himself walking over to the epicenter of all the action and tripping over the corpse. I think it's a little more plausible that he may stop reading and notice that something is going on, or he may recognize Emilia or something along those lines.  Smiley I mean it would make sense for him to react and maybe call the cops.

Hehe...yeah...poor Vanguard...I'm starting to think the poor guy isn't going to get a proper burial ever.

I have made my return!

Anyway, I had a musing a few weeks ago.

I remember that someone declared this to be before Stripes, and I bought a Big-O DVD that has...Crap I forgot the names of two of the episodes...One was the one with Freddy, and the other was with the Japanese Backbot. The last on the DVD...Stripes.

Anyway, yeah, I've been not at my computer lately, but have, though in small amounts, been trying to come up with something to get myself going in the RP. I need to call Reki...erm, Rev... again. I haven't called her in a while. Been busy, and I'm still not used to the fact that most of my friends are in school now.

At any rate, I am alive and kicking.

Idly, if you guys in the library are waiting for Michale to do something, don't bother. He's going to be completely oblivious for several in-character minutes while he's looking through books. He'll only notice what's going on when either A: he finds the books he's looking for and goes to try and leave with them, or B: something happens that he can't possibly ignore (like, say, a gun going off).

1) ....don't librarys not exist in Paradigm? Memories = verboten.

2) I'm gonna have to give up Dastun and Alex Rosewater for indeterminate length of time (probably a month or so). I've got a lot on my plate, and personal things to sort out.  Finale's agreed to take on Rosewater, so I guess Dastun is up for grabs for the moment.... which I really dislike since I had something planned.... F%$& it :'(

I hate my life.

Hey, I didn't invent the library, I'm just using it. Plus if Memories = verboten how come they keep cropping up so often in the show?

That sucks, evan.  Sad  Hope everything works out okay.

As far as the library goes, I would guess that 99% of the books in there were written after the Event of forty years ago, so it's more of a research library and doesn't house much fiction.  Maybe.  I'm just guessing here.

Also, I don't know how seriously you all take the manga, but in it they actually have what they call a "memory bank" or something like that.  People store their memories there (how, I don't know), and can retrieve them like you would with a bank account.  Or something.  I'll have to reread that bit.  Anyway, my point being, it's not entirely implausible for a library of memories to exist, depending on how much you believe the manga overlaps the anime.  *shrug*  But in our case, seeing as no one from the Paradigm Co. had come to retrieve any books prior to finding out that Vanguard had some memories, I think it's safe to say that any other memories in the library are either very well hidden, or there simply aren't any others in there.  If it were full of nothing but memories, the Paradigm Co. would have already taken them all away, wouldn't they?  Or Angel would already have had them, or something.  There would have been no books there at all, is what I'm saying.

Personally, I figured it was Xel/Alan's move next, but it only made sense for someone to acknowledge Michale, even if he's off in Lala Land.

And don't forget, it's actually said on the show (I missed this the first couple times, though) that Angel's favorite book is apparently The Wizard of Oz. That'd support the notion that SOME old books are intact.

Oh, is it? XD I'll get on that soon, then. Hopefully tonight, if I'm not too bogged down with homework.

I'm guessing that since it's a university the books there are research books, they are for instruction or, like Tifaria already mentioned, written after the event forty years ago (maybe even sponsored propoganda for Paradigm Corp).
