What do you think would be a good crossover with Big O? I have a couple of ideas, but I'd like to hear with you think.

IIRC, there was a story written back on the old forums in the equilivent section of this one, that had Godzilla come to Paradigm City some time before "Roger the Negotiator". The battle was a draw with the king of monsters leaving in search of easier prey.

I still hold that a Lupin/Big O crossover would work... I mean they're doing it with Detective Conan.

How about a Big O - Dr. Who crossover? Big O vs. the Daleks, Roger's ego vs. the Doctor's ego, The TARDIS finds a soul mate in Dorothy. These first three ideas were just for laughs, but seriously, what if Roger and Dorothy joined forces with the Doctor to find out the truth about Paradigm City.

Schwarzwald vs. Rorschach I'm having trouble seeing why Rorschach would go after someone who has only on-screen killed those Kovac's philosophy would call whores, intellectuals and other dredges of society.

Schwarzwald vs. Rorschach I'm having trouble seeing why Rorschach would go after someone who has only on-screen killed those Kovac's philosophy would call whores, intellectuals and other dredges of society. I'm sorry. "vs." not necessarily meaning "against." More like, "compare them, like apples vs. oranges." Them working together is a scary thought--scary- awesome. Godzilla come to Paradigm City Great idea. One of those "it's so obvious, why didn't I think of that?" sort of ideas.

I was waiting for someone to start a big creatures/big heroes discussion in this thread, but I was thinking more Hayata's Ultraman character, if for no other reason than to face those enemies where hand-to-hand combat would have been useful. However, that's the fighting side of Big O... As for the thinking side of Big O, a crossover with Isaac Asimov's characters or even "himself" (i.e. a character based on his works and beliefs) would be cool. He could aid R. Dorothy in her quest to unlock her humanity. Maybe Professor Jones would be a good candidate for someone to help discover Paradigm City's secrets, although he's more 40's than 60's. Maybe Agents Mulder & Scully instead? I'm surprised no one has suggested crossovers with either Dune (because of the vast desert outside of PC) or Submariner (since the ocean was hardly explored in Big O's I & II).

The problem with Asimov's characters is that they don't have character. They're either generic or dry. I'm surprised no on has suggested crossovers with Dune Fremen would harass everything. They'd climb up on Big O and ride it like a sandworm. Shaddam IV would land with his Sardaukar and depose Rosewater, who would roam the streets using the Spice to access Memories.

... Submariner ... The only Submariner I know of is Namor, Prince of Atlantis. He wouldn't fit so well into Paradigm. =x

Come to think of it, a Big-O and Dr.Who crossover would be interesting.
