^Ace: Good choice.

^Yuko: Cool. Is "House of Pain" Hiphop (like "Jump Around"). That tune always cracks me up... The Beastie Boys are awesome, too...

On recommendation of a local morning show DJ, I looked up songs by "Dethlehem", and the song "Tastes like Kevin Bacon" from
"iwrestledabearonce" (pronounced "I-wrestled-a-bear-once"). Am I the only one that finds this stuff mildly amusing?

My MP3 has gone from being "dead" to having an intermittent problem. There is a firmware update, but first I need to backup everything again. Until then, it still works as a USB drive, so Media Player plays the songs... So, once again I may access my Rock/Soul/Classical/Nu Metal/Grunge/Death Metal/Jazz/Funk/Alternative collection (with a hint of rock-turned-lullaby tunes). I'm very pleased...

Update 12/16/2010: Intrigued by a familiar classical piece (music appreciation - 7th/8th grade?) heard in a hospital commercial, I've spent the last couple weeks casually looking for the name. Little Fugue by Johann Sebastian Bach. (Note: The church organ version is better - more powerful, darker.)

Then I looked up the lyrics of the heavy metal tune from the post office in MIB II (didn't want to spoil, for those that didn't see it). Speed Demon by Keel. Kind of reminds me of Motorhead. Now "Ace of Spades" is playing on my radio... Creepy coincidence... Awesome, but creepy... Wait, now it's "Ace of Spades" again but someone else singing it - The Reverend Horton Heat? This DJ is cool...

These and a couple Infectious Grooves tunes ("Therapy" with Ozzy, and "Feed the Monkey" from "Encino Man") are now part of my increasingly ecclectic collection on my back-from-the-dead player...

Drones by Rise Against.

For some reason when I listen to this I think of Sharp blowing things up.

Since my eclectic taste in music is no longer a secret, I'll just post these without explanation...

Walter Murphy & The Big Apple Band - A Fifth of Beethoven, Mister Mister - Kyrie, Tangerine Dream - Streethawk,
Swing Out Sister - Break Out, and Jelly Roll Morton - Hyena Stomp (from around 1926-1928)

OK, one explanation - I just wanted to hear Beethoven's 5th again in disco style.

Drones by Rise Against.

For some reason when I listen to this I think of Sharp blowing things up.

Not my style... I usually listen to Sponge - Plowed when demolishing stuff... However, still a good tune...

Edguy - Tears of a Mandrake

Now I'm hearing Ace of Spades yet again...... Weird...

Update 1/5/2011: Add some deadmau5, Def Leppard, Ratt, 8-bit covers (Iron Maiden) & originals, Huey Lewis & The News, and some Japanese funk...Yeah, Google! I said it right! "FUNK"! Q.A.S.B... Linky... (don't worry, it doesn't leave CoA) Cool

Derezzed By Daft Punk. It's from Tron Legacy.

Did they do the whole sound track? I still gotta go see it.

Yep, whole thing. Except a couple songs from the 80s before we get to the Grid.

End of Line and End Titles tracks are also cool. I also found some of the "fake" TRON Legacy tracks and they're cool (Fragile & The Crash are two). It has all the nice aspects of a Disney film. I would've loved to see it in IMAX, but it was still good with just 2D.

Yep, whole thing. Except a couple songs from the 80s before we get to the Grid.

Classic tracks, but also good, too. Nice OST all-around... OK, now I would destroy stuff while Derezzed was playing...

Yeah, I'll second that...

Muse music in 8 bits. Nintendo style music is always awesome if done correctly.

Remix of Muse's uprising. Which I think is pretty good.
