Using a time machine I plan to go back to around 830 bc and just blast the guy who codified algebra in the face with a double barreled shotgun at point blank range. Thus ending the madness before it can even begin.

algebra was invented 1000 years ago. Older then that it had a different name and was actually easier.
Going to buy medicine tomorrow.

Algebra=technology.

Algebra leads to trig, which leads to calc, which leads to algorithms, which create complex computer functions.
Or something like that.

Paintball all the way.

There's no practical consequence for getting hit in lasertag!

Nor can you run around freely because ooh the guns are expensive electronics, and ooh so is the vest, and ooh we're stuck in this tiny dark room so we'll run into things and brake them/hurt ourselves or each other.

You haven't played laser tag with my team then, Dan. And I do play paintball, and I keep my airsoft sniper rifle in the trunk of my car.

Tacos. Yes, I buy a lot of tacos.

Now, I don't play paintball myself, but from what I've heard, that equipment can get pretty expensive, too.

It can be. When I got my A5 it was worth about $250.

Fallout: New Vegas, the book for it, Daft Punk: Alive 2007, Bullet for my Valentine: Fever, and copy 94,316/250,000 of NIN's The Slip.
Oh, and Panera.
