In all of the awesomeness of things that I do, R. Dan, I. am. JEALOUS!
That's just epic. If they were coming here, I would be all over going.

A 7-set of jumbo white polyhedral dice from Dicepool.com. They didn't actually get here yet, but I paid for them, which I guess counts as buying.

A second black 7-set from The Dice Shop as well, which has also not yet arrived.

Aaand the PDF of the Basic Roleplaying corebook from Chaosium a week ago. That's about it.

EDIT: My order from Dicepool came today, only they got it mixed up with some other guy's and I've got the wrong stuff (a bunch of d6s instead of the 7-set). I sent them an email to see what they can do about it, because seriously, I've been waiting a long time for my stuff.

Scott Pilgrim on DVD. For those who hated it, shoosh. I plan to buy the books as well. I'm in the middle of the fourth book right now, but am reading the Legend of Drizzt books more. And eventually I'll finish the game...

Aww...I lost....wait...I'm free from that.

Scott Pilgrim the movie had its faults, Michael Cera being the most egregious, but it also had so many good points. I support your purchase.

Pshh Drizzt books are lame. Drizzt is Gary Stu of the Underdark. Gardok Szztu.

Hey now. I like the Drizzt books.

Anyhoo, Dragon Warrior 7 for the PS1. And food. Food is good.

The .PDF book of MAID: The Roleplaying Game for $7 at Indie Press Revolution.

...what?

I played this once on another forum before the person running it got busy.

My maid was addicted to every narcotic and walked around referring to themselves in the third person, describing the parallel dimension they supposedly came from. There was a bong-sword that had a "legalize it" sticker on it too.

It was decided that if the game ever gets restarted, the maids will all be homeless and my character will mainly just try to cook crystal meth for money/to get real real high.

It's a rpg where the characters are maids. (If this is the same one, and I'm remembering it right, maybe ours was specifically as wacky as it could get cause it had maids preforming mundane janitorial duties on a demonic torture maze for comedic purposes)

^I'm in agreement with Yuko. Food is good. Therefore, I bought some.

I bought it 2 weeks ago but it only came (finally) today. This thing is goddamned HUGE. At first I was afraid I accidentally bought an engine block.

All I've done so far is play Crysis. It runs on the highest settings with an awesome framerate. Smiley

Well, granted, they're both water-cooled, but I'm sure it's too silent to be. Although, you never know with Alienware. It just might have an arc reactor in there somewhere...
Nothing wrong with playing lots of Crysis. It's a goal I hope to achieve someday...

I got the Karate Kid Trilogy, and the Snake Eyes/Timber figures that should have been bundled with my GIJoe DVD...

Yeah, that's the one. Although your game of it sounds a bit more colorful than the ones I've seen (but yeah, the corebook actually does have "alcohol/drugs" as a Stress Explosion).

For the curious, more information may be had here.

Yeah, the "stress explosion" for mine is they'd suddenly go into severe withdrawl.

Also I think we were using like a random attribute generator and then from what we got would go make stats (or that was something else I forget)

Sounds about right; that's how the book describes it. It gets pretty whacked out when damn near everything about every character is decided by a bunch of d6s.

Also of note, Dicepool just sent me a full refund for my botched order, with reassurance that I can keep the dice they sent. They apparently ran out of the jumbo 7-sets, and the guy they mixed up my order with got nothing (although they probably refunded him, too). So I... kind of un-bought something there and yet wound up with merchandise anyway.

Oh, well, more money for DriveThruRPG.

Front Mission Evolved (360)

Nothing like FM3 and FM4, which are both grid tactics games, but still awesome.

I got my car chipped. ~50 horsepower for $700 without replacing any parts. Turbo engines are awesome.
