I never really liked Thundercats.

Pinky and the Brain, though, yes. YES. Until they dropped acid and thought making it Pinky Elmyra and the Brain was a good idea.

Also there was an Apocalypse Now spoof on Animaniacs? I must see. Probably a lot better than the one on the Simpsons a year or so ago.

What the hell? There was a parody of Apocalypse Now on both the Animanics and The Simpsons?

I need to check this out. Because really, what do any of you know about surfing? We're all from goddamn New Jersey (hi, Sharpie).
Peace.

My dad tried to surf once. He almost died.

It was the episode where The Simpsons Go To India. Mr. Burns outsourced the power plant to India, and Homer was put in charge, where he declared himself a god. The actual Apocalypse Now part was just a 5 minute scene where the family was going up the river but it was the best part of the show.

If Mistress says this beach is safe for surfing, then this beach is safe for surfing!

Really, the whole time I was watching that, I was HOPING for some scene of Robert Duvall surfing. Because being Robert Duvall, that would have been one of the best scenes in all of cinema.
Peace.

The long downward spiral of Cartoon Network as it parallels the decline of Western civilization.
Discuss, citing specific examples, in at least 500 words. You have 90 minutes. This is a closed-book exam.

I don't like this discussion. Can we instead just talk about how Western and Japanese cartoons both are getting more and more messed up and less and less good?
