Apparently, there was once the idea of making a Transformers comic where they land on a Steampunk Earth.  Sadly, there is little found aside from some concept art.

However, it is awesome.

Shame there's a dearth of Autobots, but yeah.

But... but... then there'd be no Soundwave, and he was badass.

ZOMG! That looks awesome!

Shockwave should be one of those pianos that plays by themselves, or a music box or something.

I think I saw a cover of this from Wikipedia, where they had a locomotive Bumblebee.

It was pretty cool. He teamed up with John Henry or something.

It looks like Prime is the locomotive....

This is made of much win. As a steam fanatic, I like this idea. Grin

O.O

This needs making. Lots of making. Shockwave was always my favorite, and I see he gets the royal treatment. The Megatron concept is badass, too.

Those of you who can draw, get to work. I expect completed issues on my desk Monday morning.

If the entire transformers movie had just been that shockwave drawing and none of the others

And he never went into robot form, and was just that ironclad ship for the entire movie.

And it had no shia lebouf, and the plot was entirely different.

I'd maybe give it a rental.

This whole steam punk premise got me thinking about what if Transformers took place two thousand years ago?

"Awww, why does he get to be the donkey cart? I want to be the donkey cart!"
