Played some more DS...
Tornado - Ignition: Getting better, but still taking too long to complete round.
Transformers - Decepticons: Same problem here, although my fighting skills and marksmanship
have improved greatly.
Jam Sessions - I do pretty well at short sequences of notes, but not long sequences yet. Apparently,
I have a good ear for pitch, too.

Battlefield Bad Company for 360
Burnout Revenge for PS2
Revenge was a case of "I haven't played this in a while" and I bought Bad Co. with some of my birthday money a couple of weeks ago. Beat the campaign once, now I'm working on multiplayer and the campaign some more. I'm really liking Bad Co, but I've always liked the battlefield games.

Pretty neat Jagged Alliance clone, and as an added bonus, it's got that ball breaking eastern Europe difficulty.
Merc. Leader: Guys, let's take cover in this house.
Milita: LOLZ not gonna help. *throws a grenade from 50 miles away with pin point accuracy threw the window.
Merc. Leader: FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU-

Ultimate Doom and Final Doom TNT: Evilution
on ZDoom! Having mouselook in Doom makes it so much more fun.
Note: I played Doom 2 first, but I really prefer the linear level design of the first Doom. Plus, I love individual episodes, and those cool intermissions with the overworld map.
There's also a mod for a port that allows you to put Doom 3 Monsters inside Classic Doom levels. It's lulz.

Myst IV: Revelation Sure the puzzles are brutally difficult, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  I've never had to use a guide to finish a Myst game and I don't plan on starting now. EDIT: Dammit, I had to consult a guide to solve one of the puzzles, Sirrus's spider chair puzzle from hell.  |

So...my ex just bought Oblivion for PC and she's having a problem. I think she needs a patch but I don't actually know. She can get the game to load, her computer meets all of the requirements, but her game crashes in the sewers. Every time. Can I get anyone's two cents on why and how to fix it?

Did she buy it retail or from Steam? If she got it from Steam it should already have the latest patch but if not you can find the patches here: http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/updates_patches.htmAlso make sure your video card drivers are up to date. By sewers do you mean the sewers you go into after being released from the prison cell? If that doesn't work then try a reinstall. |

Yep. Those sewers. She can talk to the king and everything, but it crashes in the sewers.
She saw those patches, but they said that they weren't official patches and made by players, so she's leery of them. I think it was those patches anyway.
I told her she should ask Bethesda, and if I remember, one of our resident CoA members is a Bethesda employee, so I told her I'd put up a message on here for everyone to look at and throw in opinions.
Her drivers should be up to date, but I'll ask her when I go in to work tonight.
And it was retail, from Wal Mart.
