Amores Perros (2000) A dog that goes on a killing rampage against other dogs? Good Lord, I was I came up with that first. I refuse to believe that was what that movie was about, because I watched several parts of it when me and mine went to the house of some friends of my dad and it wasn't anywhere near as awesome as that sounds. |

That's only part of it, from the angle of Dog Fighting. Its from the same director that did 21 Grams and Babel. Wow, come to think of it, his earlier stuff was better than his later stuff. That's not how this works, Innaritu.

And to make it worse...I actually liked it. Yes. The decade or more of waiting to see the inevitable movie did pay off, for something that had something like 14 or so writers (no seriously, there were a ton of people working on that script) it really wasn't that bad. I've waited for this movie practically since I'm old enough to remember, and wasn't disappointed.
Now you can crucify me.

Return of the living dead part 2, which was like the sequel to a pseudo-official sequel to night of the living dead (fun fact: due to a dispute over rights, one of the guys who worked on night was allowed to continue things using the "living dead" part of the title, hence all future romero zombie movies just being "(blank) of the dead") but full of slapstick and running zombies and so on.
My main contention with it is it violated the rule. I think we're all aware of what the rule is.
(headshots, the rule is a direct hit to the cranium kills zombies)

(I was flipping channels, and the description said it was the remake from 2003..but Comcast was wrong in this case, it was the original '79 one with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin. Lucky for me.)
